Papa Chris' Place

I had the Gyro Plate last night and it was PHENOMENAL!!! FIRST off and most importantly, the lamb is Kronos (if you know only one thing about gyros, know that Kronos is the leading supplier of premium gyros in the USA) which I definitely prefer but don't always expect. SECOND, the pita was perfect...soft in the middle, crispy on the outside, and not oily. THEN their HOMEMADE Tzatziki sauce is really, really good and I'll even say...second to none! Lastly, all the "extras"  like the rice, tomatos, and grilled onions were fresh and delicious. Lastly, this place has super friendly customer service and a VERY generously priced menu (too generous if you ask me-esp for being in Niles)...I put them in my top two and will be a lifetime customer.

Pretty good food here. The lady at the front was super nice. Food came out pretty quick also. The cheeseburger was great and a nice size. I Curly Fries with cheese and it was good. Fries were nice and crunchy. Had a small coke and everything cost me $9. Not bad.

I would recommend splitting the curly fries if you have a friend with you, I barely put a dent in them. It's a huge serving. I will def come back when in the area and have a craving for a good burger.

The gyros is reminiscent of what I used to get at the Athenian Room on Webster back in the 70's. Try the curly fries, too. While I only get to PC's a half dozen times a year, I'm welcomed as if I was a regular. Wish it was open at "closing time".
