Pathetic, substandard and borderline depressing is how I would describe my experience here. Where do I start? Hard stale bread sticks (I am embarrassed for them for even serving them). My calzone was supposed to be "smothered with melted cheese and sauce," well when we got home, all of the cheese was stuck to the top of the aluminum foil and guess what NO SAUCE, why? The calzone was dry and uninteresting.
Greasy -oily, not-so-tasty pesto ziti - the flavor was lacking and frankly useless. Lady friend even got the wrong salad dressing, frustrating. Even the chicken parmigiana sandwich was completely forgettable - one note tomato sauce flavor with a scary spongy chicken - what a fail.
Two stars are for the nice young lady that took our order. She was bubbly, refreshing and a nice change of pace compared to other disgruntled restaurant employees (can't say at this place, but at other joints for sure). Anyways, can't really comment on the service at the restaurant since we did a to go order, but can't say I will ever give them a chance since their food is this cheap, tasteless and just sad.
Honestly, you are better off boiling your own spaghetti (al dente of course) at home if you are craving Italian.
Guess I won't be eating out anytime soon, this place made me gun-shy once again. Glad I got my smoker and grill
Pasquini's was the closest pizza restaurant offering gluten free pizza, so their Park Meadows location was the choice destination. It's been interesting dining with someone with what I consider many dietary restrictions, but not everyone has an iron gut.
The first thing I'd comment on is $2.95 markup for a 10" gluten free pizza. This seems like a lot, but perhaps this is the norm. It must be tough on the wallet to customize a gluten-free pizza when you must ignore most offered specialty pizzas due to being mostly vegetarian and dairy (cow) free.
We were given garlic breadsticks with marinara sauce. These were a bit dry, but had some mild Italian seasoning. I would have preferred more garlic sauce so I could have moistened the bread and gotten more garlic flavor. The marinara sauce was good, but didn't soften the bread.
We had two pizza orders - one, a customized gluten-free 10" pizza (8.95+2.95) with $1.25-1.95 add-ons and two, a half and half of Sausage Ricotta and Chicken Pine Nut. I really enjoyed the flavors on the second pizza. They do a good job at getting their ingredients to stand out individually on the pizza. They certainly do not skimp with the garlic cloves. The gluten free pizza was mostly enjoyed, though they didn't do well with the "light goat cheese" request. There was a pile of unwanted goat cheese remaining at dinner's end.
I went for the lunch buffet and not only was it reasonably priced, but the salad options were good and the meatballs (huge) in marinara were awesome. Â I also tried the white chicken jalepeno pizza which was great. Â 5 of us ate and had sodas for $60 tax and tip included. Â What a deal for lunch!
Review Source:This Pasquini's location is infuriating because it could be a decent, locally owned red sauce joint. Â However, it suffers from a problem many other restaurants and bars in this area suffer from; obnoxious, unsupervised children. Â The staff at this location is great. Â They're always friendly and attentive. Â The food is good. Â However, when you're trying to hang out in the bar and children are running around yelling and screaming it tends to kill the atmosphere. Â
Maybe they should build a real wall behind the booths in the bar to close that area off to the little monsters, er... I mean beautiful children  Or, if I were in charge, I would instruct the staff to discipline the out of control kids and politely ask the parents to get their act together and supervise their children properly. Â
There is an increasing number of people in this area that would enjoy an environment where adults can eat, drink and socialize without being overrun by kids. Â Pasquini's could be that place, unfortunately it is not.
We have strong romantic attachments to the Uptown, Broadway, and even CCN locations. Â Â So we were really excited when they moved in so close to us here in Centennial. Â But the painfully slow and inattentive service we received there Saturday night, for food that isn't good enough to offset shortcomings...it just isn't worth it. Â We might do take out again, but money is too hard earned to go back and dine in. Â Not when there are other places doing a better job.
Review Source:So disappointing. We took our two kids in last night for a quick dinner, having dined in and loved the Pasquini's downtown for years. Bitter disappointment. For a Saturday night, the crowd was sparse, the bar was deserted, and the service non-existent. We were seated quickly but left without drinks, water, silverware or napkins for 25 minutes. Our order was one pizza, one focaccia sandwich, and a kid's spaghetti and meatball- which took about 35 minutes to arrive, without the meatball, which the waitress said she forgot. That arrived 20 minutes later as we just requested boxes so we could get out of there. Our waitress seemed to just disappear for long stretches of time, no one refilled our water or asked if we needed another drink. Â All the other tables seemed to be having the same issues, as none of them turned over while we were there. Â We will battle the crowds at Big Bill's from now on, since they seem thankful for the business, have quick service, and great 'za.
Review Source:I LOVE Pasquini's in the Highlands, but this location is horrible. Â Bad service, cold and undercooked breadsticks smothered in nasty butter, slow service...oh and very young servers. This location seems very poorly run. The happy hour prices are awesome, but it's not worth the poor quality food and service. Too bad, this place was going to be a saving grace for moving to the burbs. I guess I need to find a new pizza place south of town.
Review Source:First my wife and I started with an appetizer, meatball sliders. They weren't very good, they were very dry even with the sauce. Then we ordered a 14'' combo pizza. It was an ok pizza, but my wife hated it. If we didn't have a free coupon for the pizza we would have been even more disappointed. The service was great. I don't think I would recommend the pizza, however. And for a place supposedly known for its pizza, that is an issue.
Review Source:I have taken food out at Pasquini's Lone Tree several times, each and everytime is better than the next. I also dined in once. I pretty much stick to the basics, but the basics have never done me wrong. I love Pasquini's salads. Fresh and delicious. Can't go wrong with any choice. I usually opt for the Meatball Sub for my main. Great sauce, peppers and onions and cheese top it off. The meatballs taste homemade too. Once in a while I'll get dessert and order the Bailey's Cheesecake. Yum! All in all a great place to dine-in or take out. No complaints so far.
Review Source:Four strikes and you're out.

My family is very patient. This is evidenced by the fact that we have gone back, giving Pasquini's the benefit of the doubt after numerous bad food experiences.
The last time we were there (before tonight) I told the manager that the kitchen was going to kill them. For the life of me, I can't figure out what the problem is, besides, ultimately, bad management who is probably not very restaurant experienced - who knows.
Tonight was undercooked pizza. The last time, the wrong ingredients on the pizza. The other two times it was an over 40 minute wait for our food.
If you're the type of person who believes you work too hard for your money to deal with a bad kitchen in a restaurant, then skip Pasquini's. Try the Rock pizza on Dad Clark - they seem to know how to get things right even when they're slammed...and, no, I don't have any vested interest in that place - it just seems to be a good alternative.
The cheapest gluten free pizza we have ever seen from a restaurant! Be sure to go to the restaurant during happy hour. Pizzas are only $5.00, and $6.00 or $7.00 for a gluten free pizza!
The pizzas themselves aren't anything very special. They DO taste good, and the gluten free crust is pretty good. One of gluten free pizzas we ordered was flat like you'd expect and the other had a crust so thick and fluffy that we had to ask the chef if it was in fact gluten free. They confirmed it was, and we haven't gotten sick from eating there hours later. Despite having some creative toppings like ricotta and goats cheese the pizzas taste sort of bland. There is just something missing to take the flavor over the top. Otherwise its really good value for the money.
Large pizzeria at Quebec & C470 with decent food that is missing enthusiastic friendly service. Â Frequently go to Pasquini's because they have pretty good food, reasonable prices, and I love the complimentary homemade bread sticks served with garlic butter. Â
Unfortunately some of the staff seems indifferent about working. Â Many of the same faces have been there a while so not sure what is going on. Â Also, if you don't want to deal with loud children request a seat in the bar and avoid the family friendly dining room. Â The bar also has several HDTVs to look at.
They offer a rather generous all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that usually includes salad, pasta, meatballs, lasagna, sauces, pizzas, and dessert for $8.99, drinks sold separately. Â The buffet is a great value!
My wife says the gluten free pizza crust and fettuccini are both really good.  The gluten free menu is pretty large <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pasquinis.com%2FPasquinisMenu%2FGlutenFreeMenu%2Ftabid%2F1839%2FDefault.aspx&s=803e75f436ed410074d9201feaa1d71200e07de6d96fbacbccbbb52e4d873f61" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.pasquinis.com…</a>
The food is good, the free bread sticks are good. Â The lunch specials are well priced - two slices and drink for 6$.
Why, oh why, does it take SO LONG to warm up two slices of pizza for lunch? Â Are these made fresh or something?
Good luck making it back on time if you have an hour lunch. Â I've never made it...
This place is ok and great for families. Â I would not eat here again because I'm a pizza snob, and this pizza is meh, but the price is right, it's noiy and perfect for kids. Â The cheap prices, edible food and TVs in the corners ensure that familys wanting an affordable night out will have a place to go.
Review Source:Darn it...I really wanted to LIKE this place and go back...but boy did they ever make it hard. Â We won't be back again and will make sure to take our large party business elsewhere.
We arrived at 5:30 with about 9 6-year-olds and a few small fry even younger than that. Â Our experience started off ok - they handed out free dough for the grubby little kiddo hands to play with. Â This kept them occupied for about 15 minutes. Â Drinks slowly arrived - but I don't think they bothered to take our order until 6:15 or 6:30. Â Really? Â With that many kids running around? Â They let the kids make their own little pizzas, which is a great concept...except...the kids made their pizzas and then we sat and looked at them on a nearby table for another 45 minutes. Â Our food finally arrived - in batches - at maybe 7:00. Â So we'd been there for a full hour and a half without food. Â Then they had the audacity to charge us 18% "gratuity fee" since we were a large party.
This galls me - they screw large parties on service, knowing full well they'll make it up with the forced tip.
I was hugely disappointed - the service was beyond terrible - the kids were famished by the time their pizzas arrived - there were no apologies or explanations. Â The whole restaurant was a zoo.
BAD NEWS.
Update: since this post, they (owner Tony) have REALLY made it right! So moving from one star to three! :)
Actually I have no idea what the food is like, as we never received any..  Let me tell you about our experience. My daughter plays Club Volleyball nearby. So being from Elizabeth, Co, a 2-restaurant town, we traveled a ways to get there. We try new and local restaurants in HR often. Upon arrival, it was very busy; we found a spot at the bar. The bartender was washing glasses right in front of us and no acknowledgment. I finally had to compliment her snow-cap, (you know-- fly's and honey) and she and I chatted, and then asked if we liked a drink. Umm. Ok.  A table opened up and we took it. The waitresses were "Jersey Shore" gossiping in a corner often, and frankly I had to wave to get one to actually come back. We ordered ONE calzone to split 3 ways, as we were on a tight time limit (at that point we had been there over  1/2 hour).. KEEP reading it gets better.. a teacher I work with arrived then, small world (!), and got beer and FOOD before we did. Yea. Still waiting for ONE calzone. Finally we HAD to leave to pick up our children. So I kindly told the waitress that we cannot wait any longer and take the ONE calzone off our order. She was ok with it. Now GET THIS! The general manager ( no capitalization on purpose)  arrives at our table and asked what was happening, I kindly told him we'd been here  1 and a  1/2 hours and were still waiting for ONE CALZONE. He says to me: "SO YOU'RE GOING TO DECIDE TO NOT PAY FOR YOUR FOOD?" I think at that point the flies flew in my mouth, it dropped open so big. My husband unloaded on the guy. My husband is a very passive, quiet guy, but does not take well to bully's, says, "WHAT FOOD!!" At that point GM was terribly inappropriate, unkind words, and said to refund our food. Which he didn't as I got my VISA billed. I have never ever had anyone in a restaurant treat me so poorly. Stay away.  Whoever owns this place NEEDS to get rid of this man. He wanted us to pay for food we never got?? What is wrong with that picture! And now I get to deal with the credit card company.. yay.
Wish I could give NO STARS. Â Normally I love Pasquini's. Â Tonight we took the whole family for my daughter's 9th birthday. Â We were all very disappointed with the food and the service. Â First of all, our waiter took a bit to come over for drinks. Â Secondly, then he began bashing the kitchen and that the "new owners" are letting the place go downhill. Â We learned far too much, right off the bat. Â He bashed the food and knocked down anything I thought of ordering. Â He even tried to talk my 10 yr old son out of ordering the kids' pizza, due to the kitchen being 'backed up and extremely slow'.
Â
Seriously? Â There are not many choices on the kids' menu to begin with, and to try to discourage him, it was ridiculous. Â I stepped in and told him to order the pizza if he wanted it. Â Is this not a pizza place?? Â Also, my birthday girl BEGGED to come to this restaurant for her birthday because she loves what used to be the grilled cheese calzone on the kids menu. Â The waiter informed us that it's different and done on bread now because of 'new owners'. Â She still ordered it to try it, but hated it. Â I talked the waiter into talking to the kitchen about making my birthday girl happy and making her the cheese calzone she wanted. Â He agreed. Â
Then he talks me out of the Calzone and into the Meatball sub. Â My salad came out wrong, I ordered no mushrooms. Â I had to ask him 4 times for extra ice for the hot, iced tea he brought me. Â I had to wait 20 minutes for my tea to be refilled. Â Our food came out in just a couple plates at a time. Â My meatball sub also ended up with mushrooms, even though again, they were omitted from my order. Â The waiter takes it back and comes back 5 minutes later with the SAME meatballs and unmelted cheese on it. Â It was cold and the bread was falling apart. Â 10 minutes later he comes to check and I told him that it was cold crap and that I wanted the Calzone. Â Of course, by now everyone in the family is done eating and I am still waiting on my iced tea to be refilled and my food. Â I filled up eating my kids' plates. Â He finally brings my Calzone and says the meatball won't be on my bill. Â NO really?! Â Like I would pay for that crap on a plate anyway.
Calzone wasn't any better, very bland and dry. Â We were one of the last ones in the restaurant. Â We kept getting forgotten, I had to send my kids to ask the hostess for help. Â I have never had worse service or worse food in this restaurant. Â If this is how the new owners want their place perceived, then I don't think it will last much longer. Â My daughter wanted to go there so badly and she was so disappointed, we didn't even order dessert there, as planned. Â Worst experience on a special occasion, EVER.
This is a good place to bring the kids. Tuesday is "Kids Eat Free" night and they get to play with pizza dough while the husband and I catch up on our day over a beer (yes, we drink beer in front of our children) and some bread sticks. The pizza is good and the spaghetti with homemade meatballs is also good. My kids also enjoy making their own pizza. The staff is friendly and the service is fast.
Review Source:Pasquini's is a regular favorite of ours. Â The staff is regularly excellent and the food is great! Â It's rare for us that a menu has so many favorites (Chicken Parm & Meatball Calzone to name a couple). Â The breadsticks are the best free appetizer. Â As well, their slice and soda lunch special is a steal! Â In short, Pasquini's does a lot of things right!
Review Source:Ok, I'm back in a decent relationship with Pasquini's. The manager read my previous review and was nice enough to send a $25 gift card my way to re-coop my previous experience.
So, I went for the pizza this time and was pleasantly surprise! They have gluten-free crust options, which my lady friend needed desperately. The ingredients were fresh and the service was friendly and fast.
Pasquini's: you have redeemed yourself! With management like this accepting a fatal error and making right, I'll be back for pizza anytime!
My girlfriends and I went in for dinner last night. The food was pretty good but I have mixed reviews on the service. The hostess was very rude when she sat us. It was like we were bothering her. Thank goodness our waitress was nice and she made up for the rudeness we received. The food was alright but some what over priced. We paid 9 dollars for a large salad that really only was for one person. Way too much. We probably won't be coming here again. Too bad the pizza was pretty good.
Review Source:YUM! Â the pizza is so so so good. and the breadsticks are to die for. Â literally. Â smothered in butter and Parmesan cheese...mmmmmmm. Â the service last night was not the best. Â our waitress was sweet, but she seemed a little stressed out, and i'd imagine this place is usually busy, so it was kind of weird. Â maybe someone called in sick, i don't know. Â it took forever for us to get our breadsticks which was annoying, but everything else came out in a timely fashion so we were pleased. Â the decor is a little odd (bowling balls?) but it was interesting i suppose. Â and there are kids everywhere (but it's the suburbs, what can you expect?). Â overall i recommend it. Â it's yummy.
if you want a more grown-up atmosphere, go to the pasquini's in denver! Â it's adorable, in a little house, and the food is just as delicious
I want to love you. I want to make you a regular place to visit. I want to feel the same about this location as I do the original and the uptown location. But I don't. This location lacks the atmosphere and coziness of the other.
The food is still good and reasonably priced. I like their pastas and salads. Of course the bread is great too.
I just wish I liked the location, it's so close to home!!
We received a menu in the mail and in huge letters stated "FREE DELIVERY". We ordered our food over the phone then gave our address and was immediately told "oh that is out of our delivery area". Well then you shouldn't have sent me a menu that stated FREE DELIVERY! I live 4 miles (10 minutes) from this place. They might want to rethink their delivery area.
I'm in marketing...I send A LOT of direct mail. Yes. I send junk mail. But probably not to you. :) Anyway...there are very easy ways to segment your mailings so that you are only mailing to those who are actually eligible for the offer. Well obviously if we aren't in their delivery area, we are not eligible for the offer. So they shouldn't have mailed this piece saying FREE DELIVERY all over it if we didn't qualify. In fact, there wasn't even a disclaimer on the menu saying anything like "free delivery only available in set delivery area". If it had that I wouldn't have argued. Trust me...I understand disclaimers (duh...direct mail marketer here!).
The girl taking my order gave in and said they'd deliver to us at no fee but they wouldn't do it again in the future. Fine...whatever. Food is delivered and I look at the receipt. Instead of the $20 the order was supposed to come to...my card was charged for $35! I called right up and guess what...they charged me for delivery. The girl I talked to this time wasn't the one I talked to before so she didn't know what to do. I asked to speak to the manager. I ran through the whole marketing background/segmenting lists/eligible offers crap and she just didn't seem to care. After arguing for 5-10 minutes she gave in and refunded me the delivery fee.
And to top it off...my salad SUCKED and the pizza my husband got was tasteless.
UPDATE 9/22/2010: I just wanted to write an update to mention that a week or so after I posted the original review, I received a message from the owner of Pasquini's. She was disappointed to read about the lack of customer service from her employees but was also surprised by the fact I received a mailer with the FREE DELIVERY deal. She sounds sincere and I believe her when she says she'll address the issue with her local direct mail marketing firm that is handling her mailings. I give her 4 stars for effort!
UPDATE 9/28/10: The owner, Kate, has  been extremely responsive and has really taken care of the situation. I give her 5 stars! She did give us a gift card to try Pasquini's again and I'm looking forward to it. My rating is now reflective of what we thought of their food the first time around. I'll update it once we have a chance to try it again.
After now trying the pizza with a wheat crust, I have come to the conclusion that the dough is just too chewy! Â Even after have the pizza cooked slightly longer, the inside just wont harden up. Â This is still a good spot for a family to come, especially with kids. Â The table service was still good the second time around. Â This is definitely not the best pizza but it's easy and good enough to feed a big family.
Review Source:I'd really like to give this place 3.5 stars but since that's not an option, 3 it is. Â Here's why:
Positives:
1. If you have kids this place is family friendly.
2. Service is good and the staff is friendly.
3. The food is good and they give you unlimited breadsticks with marinara sauce. They also offer white pizzas with olive oil and garlic as well as the traditional tomato sauce.
4. Cute bar area that's more Johnny Rockets than Italian restaurant.
5. Reasonably priced. We have 4 adults and 2 kids. With several beers, dessert and food, the total was still under $80.
Negatives:
1. The mismatched plates might have been designed to be "cool" but make me think of thrift stores and garage sales, and wondering where those plates have been can quell an appetite.
2. This place can get loud so if you're looking for a quiet romantic dinner this probably isn't the spot for you.
Pasquini's - A Haiku
For greasy pizza
Add a side of bad service
Screaming kids galore
Pasquini's was on the verge of a 1 star review. But I had to bump them. I guess 2 is better than 1.
4 times now I have tried Pasquini's. 3 in the restaurant and 1 delivery. The extra star came from that delivery experience. After screwing the order up and making us wait nearly 2 hours, the driver went back and picked up the correct pizza but still let us keep the wrong order too. So there is that.
Listen, the food is not good. But pizza, even when bad, is still pretty good. The big detriment here is the service. Every time I go in this place the wait staff is rude, the wait is long and the food never comes out right. Its the trifecta of suck.
What makes it worse is the location. Lone Tree, where well behaved children are rarely found. Pasquini's has a Family Night (Tuesday i think). Family Night is code for "Mom and Dad are drinking this wine while the kids run around the place like a scene from Lord of the Flies". I watched a kid walk up to a random table and EAT ONE OF THEIR BREADSTICKS. Plus with the warehouse feel of the decor, this place ends up being a dull roar. Just a terrible time.
Listen, this is Denver. There are a lot of pizza places. This place gets better than deserved ratings because it is frequented by the suburbia crowd who don't know any better. But you can do better. Just move on. That's what Yelp is for. To save you the indignities of "Family Night . . ."
First of all, this is based on a delivery order, so take that for what it's worth. Â
Secondly, I've never had a more bizarre experience ordering something for delivery. Â I called, requested delivery, was put on hold, then someone else picked up. Â I again requested delivery, was asked my phone number, gave my phone number, was asked to repeat my phone number, repeated my phone number, was given my phone number from kind soul on other side of phone repeating my phone number, was amazed after three times it was wrong, so I gave my phone number, and this time we got it right. Â Phew! Â Ordered our food and asked if I could pay w/ credit card. Â I was asked for my credit card number, gave my credit card number, was asked again for my credit card number, gave my credit card number again, was told the first four digits of my credit card number by kind soul on other side of phone repeating my credit card number, was amazed after two times it was wrong, so I gave my credit card again, kind soul on other side of phone apologized and told me she was by a loud table. Â Ironically, I couldn't hear any background noise--they must use excellent background noise cancelling phones here. Â So, I talked louder this time giving my credit card number, was told the first four digits of my credit card number by kind soul on other side of phone repeating my credit card number, was amazed after three times it was still wrong, so now I yelled as if I was talking to my 100 year old grandmother, everyone in my neighborhood now knows my credit card number and expiration date.
Food was alright. Â Pizza w mozz basiland prosciutto was decent, but the breadsticks were overcooked making it hard to bite into them with not much of a soft inside.
A CamStar Rating of EPIC!
The Lone Tree location is is the southern addition to the great Pasquini's family of neighborhood restaurants. The location is really easy to get to and with the awesome neon sign it will direct you in off the highway. The Lone Tree location has the same great food and service that we have historically come to expect from Pasquini's. Who doesn't love the breadsticks??
This new take location feature an amazing bar that extenuates the pizzeria along with their modern homage to historic Italy that has become the staple of Pasquini's design. From photos and a giant mural of an Italian boxer to the great Italian truck that acts as host stand there is something that will catch your eye each time you visit.
Pasquini's now serves a variety of gluten free items that are sure to please !
Summertime on the Patio is grand with the city cafe design including streetlights and your favorite Italian food and drink.
The Lone Tree Location is closer to my house and for those of you that like to venture to new places be sure to go check out this great addition to the Pasquini's family and southern part of town (where I live!!).
I am just so damn disappointed. I just moved to Lone Tree from the city.I was so excited when my bf told me Pasquini's was opening in our neighborhood. I have been going to the Broadway P's for years. How utterly disappointing to walk in to this one. I like the comparison someone else made about the interior ala Gunther Toody/Johnny Rocket. Nothing cozy or trattoria about it. Cold, cheap, loud inappropriate music, bright lights. Nothing at all the way it should be in my opinion. I was so hoping for something different than the chains and tthe oh so not interesting fare around here. Something a bit romantic and bistro like. Too much to ask for?
Even worse than the ambience was the food! Inedible. I ordered eggplant parm and my bf ordered a meatball sub. No brainers for an Italiian restaurant, right? Wrong. Inedible. The ep parm was a soggy mess coverend in a gallon of mediocre marinara. The meatballs were mostly filler and both were served cold (after waiting 30 mins!). We returned them. The music was loud and inappropriate  and obnoxious.
On the slightly positive side. Our waiter was very pleasant and the manager was very apologetic and graciously took back our food and didn't charge us for anything but the 2 glasses of wine. When I told him our concerns he explained it is now a franchise however, Tony is still very involved in all aspects. I think not. I do not think Tony would want his name on anything like this restaurant.
Sadly, we will not go back. It was that bad. Sadly we need an interesting, romantic, quiet, delicious, interesting restaurant in Lone Tree. Anyone know of one?
I've got to disagree with some of the comments that this one is not like the Broadway pizzeria. Â It still has the cheep looking silverware and awkward plates. Â Oh and I especially like the crusty food particles on the rim of the beer glass and on my fork. Â Just like the Broadway Pasquini's. Â If you can look beyond those factors the pizza and bread sticks are pretty good.
Review Source:I wish there were 1/2 stars because I'd probably go 2 1/2 here. It had been a while since I'd gone to Pasquini's but the one in Lone Tree did not remind me in the way I'd hoped. The breadsticks...though swimming in a sea of butter and garlic- are yummy, you just know you're sabotaging any sort of workout you may have done. But hey, they're free! The BF and I shared the combo calzone and the large rustica salad. The bread on the calzone is yummy and the salad was really good. The cheese on it wasn't exceptional but overall, very tasty. The service was ok- nothing special. the place was ridiculously crowded. Just goes to show you that Lone Tree is in desperate need of some decent restaurants. Those people will go anywhere!
Review Source:Don't come here expecting the experience you get at the Broadway or uptown Pasquini's. Â Met some friends who have moved to the burbs thinking this might be a nice compromise and wish I wouldn't have bothered. Â Service was horrible, they don't serve happy hour drinks in their dining room, wine prices seem to be high (probably because it is south of Hampden) and the great Pasquini's ambiance that we know and love is lost here in the hollowed out Lone Star that it inhabits. Â On the up side you can now get your pizza/calzone made with wheat flour and $10 bottle of sangria (menu says it serves 4 but don't be fooled, only serves 3). Â I'm in no rush to return.
One more thing....we were there on a Tuesday night and there was mass confusion and a long wait.
Breadsticks dropping with goo-b (aka goo - butter) may sound gross, but give in to it. It's better than Olive Garden's frozen Pillsbury sticks. Not only that, the texture on the aforementioned goo-b's rules: dense (read: tummy-filling) and light. It's a paradox, but one you shouldn't think too much about.
And I am really into the panini. Melty provolone, crusty bread and crammed with fillings.
Dig it.
