We came here because my husband was craving  pint of Guinness & we assumed an Irish pub would have it.  When we first walked in we were skeptical...it's way smaller & dingier than it looks in the pix, and the patrons looked sorely down on their luck...serious barfly types who seemed to be suspicious of intruders. Also they did not have Guinness on tap, but they did have it in cans.  We decided to stay & "have one beer"...HAPPILY!  Because the jukebox was playing an excellent assortment of old AC/DC, GnR & Motörhead & after a few minutes some women across the bar hollered at us, wondering if we minded if they smoked. We told them to go ahead, & then then fun began!  They were friends of Pete, who was with them, & they were all hilarious & bawdy & awesome!  We ended up staying for many beers.

Great little hangout during MNF.  All locals and they definitely kept me and the bf entertained.  Fun, fun hidden gem.

Went here to check it out as my new job is close by... Just a bunch of locals swigging beer and yelling way too loud at each other, competing with the way too loud juke box. No one else is able to have a decent conversation. Maybe we were invading their territory! My (cheapo yesterday vintage) wine was served in a dirty glass, and as there are no other choices to speak of, if you are not a beer chugger you are out of luck. But then I suppose, what do you want for $4 if you are desperate? The bartender was pleasant enough, tho she looked bored to tears, so maybe she could have spent a moment to check that the glasses were sparkly clean for the new customers. After10 mins we had had enough of the prevailing racket and left. Nothing to write home about here, can't see what all the raving is about. Not my cuppa tea at all matey!

I have so many good things to say about this place I don't know where to start. Its such a wonderful neighborhood bar.  All the bartenders are very friendly and if you are lucky you may even meet Pete yourself. In my opinion he is quite the colorful character!   My favorite is that they serve Longboard on tap.  It generally is a very mellow and low key place to have some good beer.  On weekends they often have a DJ or bands playing.  The jukebox has really good selections to choose from too.

Went there today to watch England play - and win! Woohoo - we're on our way to the quarter finals. Anyway, I wish I had found this place earlier. Really liked it there a lot. Pete is great (he's from Leeds) and apparently he sometimes does a British breakfast when England is playing. I had steak and mushroom pie with chips and baked beans - mmm - that combined with the England win (against Ukraine) was a winning combination. Looking forward to going back.

This is a great little bar! I love the vibe and the bartender is great. They also carry strongbow and other types of cider. When I was there drinking my strongbow, another local bought me Magner's, Irish Cider and yelled "Fuck Strongbow" across the room! It was so funny hahaha. Definitely will come here again :)

without breaking your wallet!   ....Catch the live sounds of "The Rolling Clones" and "Silverbeat"  as they perform the signature hits of the British invasion and classic rock..  This is truly a great intimate little place for beer and wine and great live music!

One of the best places to hang out in Lomita. A beer bar at its best. Very friendly folks of all ages.Small and comfortable place to hang with friends. Lots of imports including English, Irish, Scottish, German and more. Domestics, Stella and Kona Longboard on tap! Live bands on weekends, which can get crowded so get there early if you want a seat.

Great local place, perfect for the last stop of the evening or a local nightcap.  I've been here several times and it's always fun, sometimes more lively than others, but I'm ok with it either way- usually pretty mellow.  Discovered this past Friday night, that Friday nights seem to be hoppin' in here.  Very interesting locals.  Have had a nice chat with Pete himself in here once.  Good people and the sweetest bartenders.  Beer/wine only; cool jukebox. .Very reasonable prices.  The set up of the bar itself is very comfortable and I like the "U" shape- good talking/people watching setup.

Try the pasty's, omg yummy!  Nice bunch of people to chill with.  Beer and wine bar, but they have hard English cider and a nice selection of European ales. Highly recommended for a soccer game.  They have free BBQ often just give Alexis (a bartender) a call for dates.

Great little bar. Clean as well as friendly. It is just what you'd imagine if you thought of a a Local Bar.
I would suggest this bar as a nice bar to relax in (and maybe play Big Buck Hunter)

Just started going here last month. Love this place! The bartender Lisa Marie is funny and wonderful. Yeah it's kind of a hole in the wall but the atmosphere is nice friendly and clean. Cute lil british Pub. The owner Pete sometimes sits in haha. I heard there is going to be Karaoke now on Wednesdays hmm....I think that will be the night to go...
