Petie Green's is a-ok, not that great, but not that good either. Â I've not been there for breakfast, but been there for lunch and dinner. Â I had the cream o' crab soup once and it was a bit chiz whizzy and luke warm, like it was warmed up in a microwave - so that was very disappointing. Â The service, however, is always great and they serve a pretty decent rueben - corn beef, I wouldn't dare try their turkey version - my ancestors might turn in their graves.
Review Source:Really Enjoy Sunday Brunch! Pancakes are great! Bloody marry hits the spot and the home fries are great when you ask them to cook it longer. Ceased salad is
delicious and the rockfish was very sweet! Waitress are friendly as well! I'm a regular and will stay that way! :0) Â by the way there chocolate rocks!
This place may not look like much during the day, but once the sun goes down and the neon lights come on, it turns into a beacon on the small street that leads to it. Â Petie Greens doesn't look like much once inside either, but the food here is very good. Â Crabcakes are lump, wings are very good, and they offer specials every day, which are all-encompassing. Â Has a cozy, small-town diner feel. Â Definitely recommend.
Review Source:Petie Green's is a favorite for my family. Â The food isn't exotic but it is always good. Â I have been eating there for five years and have had only a couple of misses. Â The wait staff is always helpful. Â It a great place to have a meal with the family or relax with friends. Â I recommend it to any one.
Review Source:Good food!!  A little $$ very small, but our waitress Amy was very nice!! Walked away paying a little to much for lunch, $45.96.Will go back and try the dinner menu!! Parking is a little crazy there, but they do have a trolley that takes u back and forth from Chesapeake Beach!! And its just 25¢ one way!!
Review Source:Peties is our go-to place for consistently good meals and I have had great service every single time I've dined there. Â (too many to count) Â UNlike other restaurants that are close by, with a fab view but where service is a total crap shoot. Â It's true there is no view at Peties but at least I don't leave with my nite ruined, so irritated that I've spent **$$ for indifferent service with a ridiculous attitude. Â It's a comfy atmosphere too. Â In the winter they usually have a nice fire in the fireplace. Â Will it be a gastronomic dream? Â Probably not. Â Will it be good? Â Absolutely. Â Fresh? Â Yes!! Â One of the most awesome apps is the Grilled Scallop salad. Â I crave it! Â Also try the fried catfish bites if they have them. Â One more thing is they are very accommodating to special orders and adapting a meal for dietary concerns. Â They get it. Â So when in Deale, it's Peties for us. Â I can count on it.
Review Source:D. Food Snob, Ph.D. and wife dropped into Petie Greens for breakfast after church this morning. Â This won't be an extensive review as it was after all just breakfast. Â Suffice it to say Petie Green's is a very viable option for a full breakfast in this part of South County (the northern half that is).
Wife had 2 eggs scrambled, home fries, and wheat toast and said they were just fine. Â I did my typical benchmark eggs poached light, scrapple, home fries, and wheat toast along side a large grapefruit juice. Â Eggs were poached perfectly and served in a separate dish as they should be. Â Home fries here were good (they differ so much from place to place). Â Fairly thick cut potatoes with a nice bite to them and a mix of cubed and sliced potatoes. Â The cubes had a good crunchy crust and the slices a nice 'al dente' type bite. Â There were onions mixed in which I like with my home fries.
Service was a little odd in that our server didn't know they had grapefruit juice and she also brought my wife a large tomato juice that we didn't order but other than that service was ok. Â We were never offered coffee which to me in any breakfast place is a fair knock. Â I like to hear 'coffee?' as the second thing I hear in a joint like this after a quick hello/good morning...
Prices are very reasonable - breakfast for the 2 of us was 14 bucks.
THUS another solid 3-stars for Petie Green's for breakfast. Â I can't see hanging out at this place with Skipper's Pier right next door although their outdoor bar has no AC and Petie's is very indoors (as the previous reviewer said - no view).
Without being there for lunch/dinner this place is not 4-star by any level - 3 is a good solid review for old Petie...
NOT HUMBLY SUBMITTED this day,
