Pho Billiards

Pho Billiards is an interesting concept: Vietnamese food & a pool hall. Let me start by saying the vietnamese dishes were OK, they basically start at 8 dollars. For an appetizer we had 6 deep fried spring rolls for 6 dollars. And the spicy Hue soup (and french bread) for 8.25 Service was alright, didnt have any problems, but as the previous review said, it helps if you speak Vietnamese. They have pool at 8 bucks an hour, as well as a mega touch game, some adult magazines and a few cheap arcade type games. Interesting enough, snacks and beverages are in a machine and cost 1 buck apiece. Closed monday

Pretty good noodles and pool. Although the banh mi was tasty and cheap at $3 a sandwich, the bread had the consistency of Italian bread, not baguette.

The atmosphere is a bit smokey with the poker players and the chef charring the hair off of a carcass. This is not your typical homogenized Americanized pho restaurant.

You don't have to speak Vietnamese to eat here, but it helps.
