The Pillar, Hookah Lounge And Coffee Shop

The environment is clean and unique, but I didn't like how open all the seating is. It is not an intimate setting if you want any privacy with your group of friends. The hookah menu was very large which would be great if you could actually taste the flavors you ordered. We switched flavors and couldn't tell the difference at all. However, that could also have something to do with the fact that our hookah was only lit half the time, and when it was lit, it was a very weak pull. We had to call staff over about 5 different times to check the coals (they never voluntarily come to check or change them, and they don't make sure they are even started in the first place). At first we thought maybe it was just the specific hookah that we had, but after watching several other groups sitting around us, we realized it's a common issue. To put the icing on the cake, they hoses they gave us to use had wooden mouthpieces and they didn't provide or offer any plastic inserts for the mouthpieces. Definitely unsanitary considering you can never truly clean wood. I went to Arabian Knights a few nights before trying Pillar and would definitely recommend that over Pillar if you are looking for people who actually know what they're doing with high quality hookahs and shisha!

Great place to smoke hookah whether you already like it or just want to try it out. The staff are really cool and friendly and can recommend you a good flavor or deal.  A lot of fun as a group. Great clean, relaxed atmosphere and a fun place to hang out.
