I've come to the decision that you really can't get any bad pho in Uptown. I've gotten take out from Pho Lily and wasn't disappointed. The service was fairly quick and my broth was still piping hot by the time I got home. It's a good substitute for Tank who retains the benchmark position for pho standards in Chicago.
Review Source:I liked their pho here. I tried the Tank Noodle one and I still liked Pho Lily a bit better. There are many options to choose from. The prices are good. The waiters do seem very young however on every occasion Ive gone they have been very attentive, regardless of whats on the t.v. Even when I took time deciding what I needed, or had a special request, they were courteous. I will keep going back!!
Review Source:I had the regular pho here ( just sliced beef) but it was just a bit below average. The meat was very well cooked when it should be slightly rare and there was very little over it in my bowl. Â It might as well have been just a bowl of noodles with broth, which isnt necessarily bad, just not what I ordered. Everything else (service, space, price, etc) is about what you would expect from any pho place.
