Average diner but will never go there again. Found a huge chunk of hair in my omlet. Sent it back and was not charged for it but I Â was not very hungry after that. Everyone makes mistakes so decided to give them a second chance. Went for dinner and my wife found hair in her food. What gives? Never again.
Review Source:Perfectly good, and better once they get to know you.
This diner has been here forever. Â The menu has a good mix of foods, from burgers and fries to moussaka and avgolemono (lemon soup) it has something to tempt every palate. Â In true diner fashion, breakfast is served all day. Â Sadly, this family run restaurant is not open 24 hours, but we can forgive this, as even when the place is busy they are still only half filled.
Last night my family ate dinner at the Pioneer Diner. Â My mother had Spanikopita, I had tyro pita, and my son had Spaghetti with meatballs. Â We all walked away full and happy. Â Two booths away, a man was dining with his toddler grandson. Â While they ate, the waitstaff played peek-a-boo with the boy, who filled the diner with happy sounds. Â As we left, I heard two waitresses talking about the boy's older brother and about his father. Â My son heard this as well, turned to me and said, "This is our kind of place. Â The food is good, the people are nice, and they recognize you when you come back." He is exactly right.
