I was cheerfully greeted by Simon the bartender/server. Their menu is typical pub grub and I tried a Cheeseburger with Fries. ($5.25 pre-tip) It had a decent pre-formed and frozen Patty on a Sesame Seed Bun with Lettuce, Pickles, Tomato, Mayo and American Cheese. The Fries were crispy as ordered and were about half Crinkle Fries and half Skins-on Shoestrings. Curious I thought. Malt Vinegar was provided.
It was a good, if unremarkable, bar Burger Basket.
Folks who had been to this location in either or both of its recent incarnations will have no trouble recognizing it as it has changed little. I did notice no video poker machines or Keno which means little to me but will be important to some patrons.
It was my first time here under its new name and new ownership.
I'd rate the venue and food a "C" and the service a "B+.
