I most recently visited the Allen location which is probably the largest of the few in the Dallas area.  This location has a very open and spacious layout with plenty of bar area seating,  an outdoor patio and an enclosed patio area.  Like most locations, it has a very casual sports bar feel but with plenty of seating options for families that don't prefer to be close to the actual bar.  In total, there are probably over 100 flat screen TVs in this place which makes watching any game almost impossible to miss.  Yes.  They are even in the restrooms.

    Now for the food.
So I typically come here for the wings, since [in my opinion] they are consistently some of the largest, size-wise, offered by any restaurant.  Hey...I like big wings :-)  Having never tried the Goldrush sauce, I requested a sample which had great flavor (think a mild not so smoky BBQ) but no heat at all, which is a must for me.  So the waiter suggested I try Bakers Gold which is basically Goldrush with heat.  They were pretty good but definitely not hot.  Luckily I also ordered some of the Buffalo Hot with a side of Fire In The Hole sauce.  This is not for the weak.  I use it in very small doses with wings and fries and it definitley gets my senses...well, fired up.

Other great flavors are Spicy Mandarin and Cajun.  Yum!

I've also tried the buffalo hot chicken sandwich, which I believe to be the best spicy chicken sandwich in all of DFW.  I would love for someone to prove me wrong by introducing me to something more heavenly.  Oh, and if you order this make sure you are either ridiculously hungry or you have someone to share it with.  It is the biggest breast of chicken I have ever seen in a sandwich.  Easily lunch and dinner in one.

The service was a bit slow, although quite good.
    Overall, a great dining experience.

In for some wings and to watch the finals.
We got the waffle and cheese which was great
The fried pickles are not sliced but spears.
The BBQ HOT was really hot! My lips and mouth were burning even us asians had a hard time eating it.
The spicy ranch was good the lemon pepper was good the baked gold was not that good. I just remember the BBQ Hot was really spicy and had a hard time eating it.

The difference between Pluckers and BWW is, Pluckers wings are bigger and the price is a bit less than BWW. They also waffle fries which I don't see that often other than Chickfila.

Visited for Father's Day-wowzer it was packed!! Did a to go and it was the longest 45 min wait ever. Glad it was worth it!! Folks were yapping and eating and bones were all that was left--positive sign! Great tasting wings, would have given them the full five stars and the wings were a bit wetter and the wait was less. A sign to tell people where to order for to go orders would be extremely helpful-Great job Pluckers!

    Arg...  What a disaster.

We are the City of Allen Spring 2013 BB1 Volleyball Champs and this season, if you win the league, you get a Plucker's wing party.  So we all go to this location for our party.

We get there and the details are sketchy.  Do we all get wings?  Do we order our own and it's comped?  Do we have to get wings?  etc, etc.

Well, the waitress first says that we're getting 100 wings.

    "Do we get different flavors?"

    "Let me go check."

She comes back and basically takes our orders.  We're all going to order our own 10 wings.

Well, it takes forever to finally get our food and it comes out on two 50 wing trays.  Except there were only 9 of us so there should have only been 90 wings.  Oh well, they gave us some extras.  No biggie.

Then we ask the question, "Which ones are which?"

Our waitress says, "Well, it's dark out here so it's hard to tell."

Um..  Dear waitress, if you can't tell, how do you expect *us* to tell?

She starts rattling off what's what, though she still isn't fully certain of what is what but motions in the general areas of the whole platter.

I say, "Hey, where's the spicy ranch?  There should be at least 20 because I ordered them and so did she (the girl next to me)."

"They should be um...  right here...  kinda in this area..."

"But that doesn't look like 20."

I don't know where it went from there but she basically just answered some other questions and walked off.

If that wasn't enough, here's the additional issue.  We had some friends who were sitting with us but they weren't part of the team.  They had just come to celebrate with us.  She took their orders (of 20 wings) and added it to our platter.  So we kinda got shorted 10 wings but she didn't charge the other friends for their wings.  It kinda worked out but it was very chaotic.

My water remained empty for a large majority of the evening until near the time our checks came (longer than an hour).  I didn't get the fries I ordered until half way through our dinner when I had to ask for them and they gave me all the little bits at the bottom of the basket.  It was completely disorganized.

All-in-all, I still don't get the wing craze.  The wings were cooked much better this time.  Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside but the service was pretty terrible.

I'm not sure why they think serving 5 people their 10 wings on one big platter makes sense.  It totally doesn't.  It's not like it saved them any dishware as they give us our own baskets to use anyway.  The wings don't even have anything to differentiate them from others except the color or sauce and many look remarkably the same.  *sigh*

Super amazing food.  Mediocre service. Boo.

But the food will bring me back.  I think these are the best wings I've ever had.  They always have various specials running on different nights of the week which is nice.  Will be back!

The sole reason I go to Pluckers is for Trivia Night.
That, and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is holy-moly delectable.
Ironic because they are supposed to be known for their fantastic wings, but I don't think they're any better than Wingstop, or Buffalo Wild Wings. I'd say they were moderate at best. If you're going to try some, get the spicy lemon pepper or the gold rush. The waiters at this location are also mediocre.
I do have to say that the guy who runs the trivia night is very friendly!
Two stars: one for the mac and cheese, and another for the trivia/friendly man who runs it.

Pluckers does Chicken wings right - a big piece of chicken. Lots of different sauces, cold beer, great iced tea, large portions of food. Servers are top notch, very friendly. Had a problem with an order one time and not only did they take the order off my bill - they gave me a gift card for my next visit. The down side is cost - its a tad high - but portions and food are very god.

went in with the wife and sat at the bar... (which never happens.. my wife is no fan of sitting at  bar).. anyway she had a small wing combo.. and i had a couple of blue moons and some really freaking hot wings... the wife also had the lemonaide.. which after a couple of sips.. if I wasnt already 2 blue moons in.. I would have gotten one too...

NCAA tourney was on the tvs.. and both our eyes were "glued" to the show.. it was crazy loud in the place.. but in that environment.. thats pretty normal.. Another plus.. Very few people smoking at the bar that night.. its a big bar.. and I think I only saw 1 smoker..

So in summary.. good drinks.. hot wings.. little loud... plenty of tv's... =good time.

Upgraded to 3 stars this time.   I went back this time with only the lowest of expectations.  Yes, Pluckers and the GM contacted me and asked my to try again.  Being the complete masochist that I sometimes appear to be, I went back.

Walked in this time and was greeted with a friendly smile.   Hmm, experience picking up.  It was going to be about an hour wait so got to enjoy some great Franconia beer at the bar.

We were seated earlier than expected.  And yet another plus.  Is there a trend developing?   The server came over and was very pleasant.  We quizzed him on what the different sauces were and he knew immediately the answers.  This guy was very good.

Ordered the El Guapo appetizer which I must was very good.  Fresh chips are served with it.  Very tasting.  We tried three different types of wings and the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich.  As I have said before, the food is good.

The service this time was much, much better.  Almost like they held a team meeting to discuss.  Yes, I'll take full credit for that.  LOL

Kudos to Dennis, the GM for giving me a totally different and better experience the second time around.  I will be back,.   One tip for those that haven't been there, try the Baker's Gold flavor.

Lets see, my family and I walked in and were greeted by a young man. He was very pleasant and seated us right away. (We went around 5:30 and it wasn't busy at all). Our waitress was very nice. She visited our table a good amount of times throughout the night, just to check in and make sure we liked everything or to see if we needed anything else. So my three stars weren't given because of the customer service, because customer service alone should have gotten 5 stars. My three stars, which may have been a bit too generous, are aimed towards the food.  Four people, myself included, were sitting at a single table. We ordered the half order of fried pickles since it seems to be "a must" when going to pluckers. I understand it was a half order, but c'mon,, three pickles for four people? And the batter just fell off the pickle whenever you took a bite. Not too sure what the hype is about those things...we then proceeded to the main course, in which three or us split 20 traditional wings, and my brother got the "mamas grilled cheese." I'm not sure i understand how the wings are cooked. We maybe waited 7-8 minutes for our meal, which I'm not complaining about. But my whole confusion is; if it didn't take that long too cook the wings, why on earth did they come out drier than a desert? I mean,, not only were they some of the smallest wings I've seen, but oh my gosh. It's like they were left in to cook for too long and someone forgot about them! Then they just tried to drown them in sauce, hoping to moisten them a bit.

    Customer service? Excellent.
    Food? So-so
I won't be choosing Pluckers over my favorite wing place for a while,so you may not see me back there.

Idk why the hell I havent reviewed this place yet but OH MY GAWD BEST WINGS EVER. Let me tell you, wings are my thang. I live, breath and sleep wings. They're mt absolute fave food ever and I'm always searching for the best. Lucky for me, I've found it in Pluckers. As of right now, I've tried: lemon pepper, spicy lemon pepper, garlic parm, dr pepper, spicy Mandarin, bakers gold, gold rush, spicy bbq and hallelujah and I have loved each and every one of 'em. My hands down favorite though is the hallelujah closely followed by bakers gold. Also, youve GOT TO try the stuffed jalapeño appetizer. Delish! For sides,  I like the loaded baked potato casserole or the waffle fries with cajun seasoning.

The atmosphere and service is also really awesome. The first time we came in they comped our fried pickles since we were first timers and they always remember me (which I can decided if thats good service or just really sad on my part for going there so much lol). Def my fave wing joint in dfw.

This is definitely the place I go to for wings in Allen. I have enjoyed this place since my first taste in Austin and the Allen location is as good or better. Make sure you sign up for the PLuckers rewards membership.

Tuesday nights are great because it is Kids Eat Free night.

Great food and good service make this a common place for use to go to! We eat here quite often and I'm even a Pluckers Club Member which has actually paid off big time. I was invited to a cold open of one of their new stores and ate completely free. I also received a free meal on my birthday.

The food is typical american and the wings are pretty good! I've had better wings, but the other food is great. The good thing is that they have an incredible selection of sauces.

If your looking for a place to watch a sporting event, I HIGHLY recommend them. They have 75 TV's in the place which I feel is overkill! Heck, they even have a TV built into the mirror in the bathrooms!

I've heard so many good things about Pluckers so a group of  us including 6 adults and 4 kids went on a Tuesday for lunch at the Allen location.  Atmosphere is good and the restaurant was not super busy at 12:30pm so we got seated immediately. Our waiter was polite but not very attentive. He brought over our drinks and stayed to watch TV for a little longer than usual. Kids meals came within 20 mins, but the rest of us waited a very long time for our food to come. Our waiter never came to check on us until the Manager came and apologized. That's when we realized we have waited for over an hour!  By then, all 4 kids have finished their food and wanted to leave.

Food was ok, not any better than Wing Stops and Buffalo Wild Wings, but I was charged an extra $0.50 for an extra side dressing (in a small plastic container). I thought that was unnecessary! Buffalo Fries was soaked and too sour, but our waiter never came back so I had noone to complain to. The manager came again to check on us and that's when we asked for refills, our waiter filled 2 ice-teas but didn't see the empty lemonade, coke and water cups.

By the time we were done with lunch, it has been over 2 1/2 hours and all we ordered was some hot wings, fries and drinks. One of our friend said Tuesdays are usually bad waits, not because they are busy, but staffs are just not as responsive. Not sure if it's true. All I can say is, holy cow, I don't think it's worth my time and I will choose ANOTHER wing places before stepping into another Pluckers again! Very very disappointed!!

My wife and I finally tried Pluckers the other night. I've read the reviews and couldn't wait to give it a shot.

The atmosphere is great. I don't think I've ever seen so many flat screen tvs in one place. It was sensory overload, but in a good way.

Our waitress was fantastic all night long. She brought us a half order of fried pickles  on the house. She also brought out at least six different sauces to try.

I guess I built this place up in my mind based on the reviews I've read. The wings were small, like Wing Stop small. The sauce was good, but the wings had a charred flavor like something was burnt in the oil. Overall we were disappointed with the wings. The pickles are great. My wife and I have never had fried pickle spears before but they are great. We actually ordered more. Best part of the meal? The huge 34 oz beers!!!

I can check Pluckers off my list. Probably wont be back.

I love this place, love it! There are so many reasons why, but for me it comes down to the smaller details. Yes, the food is great and they practically blow BWW out of the wing water but, here, it's the service I really enjoy. Each time I have been we have been extremely pleased with the staff. They are friendly, knowledgable, fast, professional, and all seem to know how to have a good time at work. None of those "I hate my life" attitudes here like you might see at some of the surrounding establishments. Also, little details like a t.v in the bathroom mirror so you don't sacrifice seeing an awesome play just to go pee make it just awesome!

My one and only complaint/suggestion: All of the Plucker's Original drinks are oober-sweet! Not my thang but "ain't nothing but a chicken wangggg."

    My hubs and I went here this weekend w a few friends and we thought it was great!  Awesome service ~ even on a busy Saturday night.  When we arrived we were told we'd have a wait, but we were sat after only 5 minutes.  I tried the $4 Pluckers lemonade - YUM.  A must try if you like vodka + lemonade!  We ordered the fried pickles and although I think everyone at our table liked them, everyone DIDN'T like the fact that they were speared and not sliced.  I got a salad w grilled chicken, which was great.  The hubs and our friends got wings of a variety of flavors and everyone was impressed.  We like the vibe and food here much better than BWW.  DEFINITELY try the sweet potatoe waffle fries if you're having a sweet tooth!  The cheese waffle fries were also great!  {But seriously, can you ever go wrong w waffle fries?}

We will definitely go back here - just wish there was a location a littttttttttttle closer!

EXCELLENT Wings, HUGE tvs, GREAT service....

When you first walk in, you are wowed by the atmosphere.  It is super spotless, lots of tables and the most tvs I have ever seen in one place (aside from a TV store).  The hostesses were very friendly and courteous.

We grabbed our table and were immediately attended to.

I was impressed by the wing flavor choices.  I tried out the lemon pepper, which were incredible and the Spicy Ranch, which were not spicy at all.  They both had a great flavor and lots of crunch. The presentation of the food was nicely done, no grease all over the place.  The waffle fries were nice and crisp and the ranch was the right consistency (and if you are ranch lover like myself a lot of the times you notice that people water it down...not here)

Our waiter was great at getting refills and offerings us dessert and suggestions.

I would recommend this wing stop to anyone who loves wings and the sports scene.

This is a great place for anything... Watch the game (big bar area and flat screens everywhere, great priced drinks), dinner with the family (far away from the bar area, flat screens everywhere and laud enough that no one can hear your children cry- but not so laud that you can't hear people at your table), oh and if you enjoy wings (but they have other stuff too).

They have Clean restrooms, friendly wait staff and the food is always hot and fresh. I also appreciated the fact that their chicken wings were not extracted from small, anorexic chickens :)

I enjoy their wings over Buffalo Wild Wings, but a few of the sauces could use a little heat, besides buffalo. The fried pickles an mozzarella are okay. We did not care too much for the fried mac and cheese everyone raves about. It was over cooked pasta, pretty bland with not much cheese, and then fried. This location is usually pretty  noisy when we go at night, due to several events held here weekly, but they are open until 2am which is a plus, as most places close much earlier!

Pluckers in Allen has a cool set up, lots of TV's, good patio, large bar area.  The fact that they offer great beer and drink specials pretty much every day is also a huge plus.  The food has been pretty good, I've tried several flavors of the wings, my typical go to is just a medium buffalo, I don't really like theirs here.  It just doesn't have very good flavor and the heat for a medium isn't really there, but if you get the hot, holy crap, it burns your mouth off.  Wish there were an in between.  Burger I had there was decent, don't like the fried- just plain waffle fries with no seasoning- hated the fried macaroni. Everyone talks about it, but I didn't like it.  The breading had a weird flavor to it, like nutmeg or something, just seemed off.  The fried pickles were also pretty good, but I prefer the pickle chips over the spears.

The biggest downside to Pluckers is the service.  Been there 4 or 5 times, and every time the service has been terrible.  10 minutes to get acknowledged, 10 minutes to get my drink, 10 minutes before they ask what I want to eat....by the time I get my food I've been there an hour.  Get the service part together, and it's not a bad place to eat and watch a game.

Plus, if you're going to just hang out and eat, it's really loud.

I'm a fan because my friends are and it's a fun place :)  There's TONS of TVs everywhere so don't worry about not being able to watch the game.  You'll literally have at least 4-5 tv's in your view.  The food is decent, but not all that great.  (I prefer Buffalo Wild Wings).  Most of their flavors we tried were so-so and I can honestly say I only really enjoyed 1 flavor.  And I think we tried at least 7 different flavors.

Only 2 people in the group ordered a beer (bottle), but I noticed a bunch of people carrying out HUGE glasses of beer.  They looked like mini pitchers and I'm sure it was a good deal!  They actually have a special for every day of the week - so make sure to memorize which day/special you like :)  Overall, okay food, good prices, and lots of fun hangin' out with friends.

Pluckers is located near the entrance of the Village. Makes it easier to find and give directions to friends who may be lost. Patio is large but could probably hold a few more chairs/tables so the wait isn't as long. This location is more spacious than the Greenville one, which I like better. There's walls of TV, airing the current sports games. We were able to enjoy the Olympics and Rangers game at the same time! The bar area is large and comfortable. Not everyone is crammed together. Service is quick and staff is friendly.

Alright, let's talk about food. Well, it's a chicken wings place, and that's why we came here. Wings are plump-y and meaty, good ratio of fat v. meat. They're not overly greased or sauced, so you don't feel super guilty after eating them! Our usual favorites are lemon pepper, spicy ranch, honey BBQ and cajun. Cajun has a strong rosemary/herby aroma and taste, so if you're not a fan of either, stere away. We tried Dr. Pepper for the first time. I'm a fan of the sauce but the meat inside is not as tasty..well simply bc the sauce is Dr. Pepper, it's not marinated in it.

As for appetizers, the fried pickles are amazing. They're cut in wedges so when you bite into them, you almost feel refreshed! Another appetizer to try is the fried cheese sticks.

We had a party of 8 and ordered 100 wings. Almost wished there were more celery sticks to share! It's always fun to order a bunch of different flavors and share 'em family style! :)

This location's food isn't as good as the Greenville one, but still decent. The 1st waitress wasn't very ...professional? The music was loud (Friday night, no biggie), but she stood at the end of the table and tried yelling to us what we wanted, etc. Are you too lazy to walk around to each of us so we don't have to scream at you and miss half the words you say? That irked all of us and left a bad taste in my mouth all night.

Anyways, food came out pretty fast. Servers need some help. They closed our checks w/o asking if we wanted anything else. She (new waitress) edited the order ASAP though. We never even saw the 1st waitress again after she took our initial order. Weird...

We were looking forward to ordering the fried twinkies since the one in Greenville made it BOMB. However when we got it, it was a soggy mess. What a let down!

Got here on a Thursday night at about 7:15,  there is a 20 minute wait. Overall good food. I was not in pressed with our waitress but she was pleasant. I was loud but it was crowded.

Not the best sauce on the wings but good. we started with the spinach dip. Dip was great I did not like the chips they were to thin for that dish IMO.I got the all you can eat boneless wings on Thursday night. man there were 8 large strips and french fries  I did not make it threw the firs plate. It was abut 15 or 16 bucks so not to bad.

    We will be back.

Their wings are huge. Went this past Monday and had their special. Something like $15 per person for all you can eat bone-in wings. You start off with 20 wings and work your way up from there. I was only able to finish about half. Had the spicy bbq but couldn't pick up on the spicy. Still it's the best place for wings in the area after having tried the wings at Hooters, Wing Stop, and Buffalo Wild.

WIth over 60 high def tvs it should definitely be a great place to watch some football.

Something about Pluckers' wings just shout out FINGER-LICKIN GOOD!
I usually go to the location on Greenville but the new restaurant in Allen has a much better atmosphere plus it is bigger in size. They have good music and a live DJ on certain nights with a dance contest. Very entertaining.

Recommended flavors: Spicy ranch, spicy lemon pepper, spicy mandarin, bakers gold. When they say spicy, it's really not spicy at all.

Recommended sides: Fried pickles dipped in ranch is to die for. Homemade potato chips with blue cheese or waffle fries with ranch. You cannot go wrong with any of these sides.

If you are a macaroni lover, I would suggest not ordering the Holy Macaroni. It is fried macaroni similar to fried mozzarella sticks except very bland inside. Just ask for a regular side of macaroni which is delicious.

When coming here, you MUST get their sweet tea. Refillable. It taste so much better in the mason jar but sometimes they run out. If craving for a good beer, I usually go for their 32oz. beer. Tried their toxic tea and was not very pleased. They have various selections of specialty drinks so make sure to ask your waiter.

This is one of my favorite place to come hangout with friends. Enjoy good food with good company. Priceless...is all I can say.

LOVE Pluckers - and this new location is great! Right in the middle of everything in Allen and near Top Golf! We went there a couple of weeks ago while waiting for our golf bay to be ready and our group of 6 was sat within 20 minutes. Always love the wings, and the drinks were strong! Try the Texas Tea!!

Also - Pluckers Mac and Cheese is one of my favorites!!!

    I'm a fan and I don't even like wings.  How's that for a recommendation?

They gave out a free lunch to our office and we went and had a great time.  I had the Marley sandwich - a grilled chicken breast seasoned with Jamaican jerk.  When we went back recently I went out on a limb (got to try new things!) and had the Marley with a side of their waffle-cut sweet potato fries.  :)  I think I've already found my favorite but I can tell you that everyone that I've been with has liked it too. and they've all had different things.

The place is clean and hip, has a great vibe, and good food.  Really can't ask for much more than that.

I am a huge wing fanatic and Pluckers is one the best wings places I've been too. I've been to several locations ranging from Dallas, Austin, and even Baton Rouge. The nice part about the Allen location is the atmosphere is nicer due to the building codes the city of Allen enforces.

The wings are very consistent in size and large. I normally get the 10 wing combo and I walk out pretty full. I prefer the mac and cheese or the chips as my side. Both are great side options for wings. I normally get hot, but they have some unique flavors worth trying. Their holy maccoroni is easily their best appetizer.

Although the atmosphere seems more upscale than most of the Plucker's I've been too, they still have amazing alcohol specials. They serve their beers in these huge 34 oz mugs. I recommend getting their sweet tea with tito's vodka.

Pluckers is a great restaurant whether you're in the mood for wings or want to enjoy some drinks.

My favorite wings in TX.   Here's the ranking (for the ones I've tried a few times):
    1) Pluckers
    2) Hooters
    3) Sauced
    4) BWW
    5) Wing Stop

I do wish they didn't put sugar on their waffle fries...there's a light hint you can taste but not nearly as bad as Wing Stop.

I always order the Cajun flavor here and I prefer the boneless basket.  Always order the lunch size basket...its huge and I can't imagine how anyone could eat the larger size they offer.  I've heard good things from friends about the lemon pepper as well.

They also make a great queso...one of the best around.  Other people rave about their fried pickles.  Mushrooms are good too....all of their appetizers really are great.

This particular Pluckers location is the biggest that I've ever seen...and I can't even count how many flat screen TVs they have...this has to be an amazing place to go to watch sports.

For me there are no better wings in Dallas.  I fell in love with Pluckers in Austin and am glad I have the access to the same food in Dallas.

This Pluckers is a beast of a place.  If you have been to the Dallas location it is that place x 10 in size, staff, tvs, and noise.  It is sensory overload with how many tvs they have, in a good way.

I love this place, they are managed very well and they need these great managers as the wait staff are young and lack experience.  But they are bright eyed and happy to serve...again because they have not been waiters for long so they still have a good view on life, that won't last long.  Our first time here we ordered 50 wings and 3 apps, the wings came out before any of the apps did, the 3 apps came out 10 minutes after the wings and a manager walked over after noticing and immediately said he would take them off the bill.  Really nice that they care so much.

The food is always great, the biggest wings of any wing place.  The flavors are spot on, I am a fan of the dry rubs like spicy ranch and garlic parm.  The fire in the hole is good and flavorful, just hate having to pay for it the next day.  Best fried pickles and the blue cheese chip app is great.

The location of this Pluckers in Allen is in a huge shopping center and is new, crowded and very nice.  I will say it does lack a bit of the charm of the smaller one off Greenville I have always gone to.

Eh......I was really looking forward to some good wings but didn't find them here.  The hot sauce was tasty but the wings were small and boney.  Maybe I just expected too much for $1/wing.   On the bright side, the buffalo chicken sandwich my wife let me try was good and juicy.

The bonus was that the hostess changed the tv in front of me to the Red's game I requested - that always makes the food taste better.

This is a Pluckers on steroids.  And not just normal steroids, but like Barry Bonds' giant head level steroids.  This is the largest Pluckers I've been to (a few square feet over the Arlington location).

As soon as you walk in, you see my favorite part of the bar.  They have a TV that maps out what numbered TVs are showing what.  For a huge baseball and college football nerd like myself, this is like seeing up the Virgin Mary's skirt.  After getting a seat under an NL game with a good view of the Rangers game, we prepared to order.

The food here is standard Pluckers aka better than any wing bar around.  However, the servers here are in that wonderful honeymoon period where the industry hasn't crushed their souls.  Our server was incredibly friendly, almost to a nervous point.  We got our food incredibly promptly and he even discussed utility infielders with me.

If you want to watch a game and have some great drinks and food in Allen/McKinney/Collin County/whatever, consider this Pluckers location.

Having eaten lots of Pluckers wings in Austin back in the college days, I'm so excited a second location has opened in the Dallas area!

The food here is just as good as I remember it being in Austin.  I LOVE their fried pickles-- prob my favorite version of fried pickles anywhere. This past time we got a free appetizer (thanks to our Pluckers club membership-- the special that day was buy 2 entrees get a free app) of potato chips w/blue cheese.  It was decent...but the chips were really greasy.

My favorite wing flavors are gold rush, hallelujah, and spicy ranch.  I like their sweet potato fries (which also come in waffle-form); they're tossed in cinnamon-sugar goodness. Yum!

The service was actually pretty good when we went.  Our server ended up leaving halfway through our meal due to an emergency but the manager stopped by our table to let us know who would be taking over and then the server who was taking over came to our table right after to introduce herself.

The location is spacious inside with tons of screens everywhere.  On the evening we went, there was both a rangers game and mavs playoff game (let's not talk about it..) going on and it never got super crowded.  I'm guessing it's because it's still relatively new but I'm sure that won't last too long (unfortunately for me)!

The food was a 3.5 and the services was a 1.5. Rude dumb girls should not be at the front meeting new customers.
