If you speak Polish and you got off the boat recently, Pol-Mart is the place for you. Â All of the signs are in Polish, everyone speaks polish, and very little English can be heard. Â The deli case is filled with random smoked, stuffed and fried meats, most of which appear to be pork. Â The wall is covered with hanging sausages with names I can't spell or even begin to pronounce. Â The cooler has borscht looking soups and noodles with strange looking ingredients in tin containers. Â The magazines and newspapers are in Polish and and the staff has that famous Euro-Trash look we have all come to love from watching James Bond films or checking out pictures of Paris Hilton partying along the Dalmation Coast. Â
Avoid being too loud when asking "Whats in the sausage?" or an old woman that looks like your grandmother may tell you in a strong accent to keep it down.
