Well, I've been in the area and for over 2 years and only recently came across this place. The brick exterior and smoke windows can be intimidating, but once you get past that it's not a bad little joint. Any place where you can get beers for $1.50-$2.00 and watch your fave Chicago sports team is a winner in my book. And on top of that, they also serve the infamous Malort....plus! Real Chicago bar here, posers need not apply.
Review Source:I think I can accurately describe this place with three words. Just a Bar. Â This place is definitely just a bar, as a matter of fact that's what it says on their awning in the front. Â This place has a few tvs and pool table if you're into that kinda thing. Â There's also a jukebox with a limited selection. Â This is a neighborhood bar so there's mostly a bunch of regulars in here but the beers are usually on some kinda special so this is a decent place to meet up and get your pre-game on before going out.
