Lonnie's Pizzaria

Best pizza in the area hands down. I've been going to Lonnies for a couple years now and their pizza is consistently one of the best. Its mostly a to-go place as there is a small seating area but you wont be disappointed.

I promised my nephews a Pizza party and wanted to try something new closer to them so I ordered from Lonnie's based on a friend's recommendation and  the reviews here and I was very pleased! I simply ordered a large extra thin crust cheese and sausage and it very good! The quality of ingredients was good, the cheese was a little bit greasy but not too bad nice thin crust with good crispy edges, great sausage and the price with delivery was very reasonable. Also nice to know they offer an 18" pizza which many do not. There is a lot of great pizza in Chicago and I'm always looking for a good extra thin crust. I will be ordering from them again.

I have lived in this area for about nine years. WHY OH WHY OH WHY didn't I find you SOONER, Lonnie's?!  When I think about all the money and calories I wasted on the other pizza I've eaten over the years...sigh. Alas, better late than never to find this deeeeeelicious pizza. I LOVE pizza and this place serves up some of the best I've ever had. Also, the Italian beef / sausage combo sandwich is pretty good.  The fries need some work but, hey, it's a pizza joint so, the fries get a pass. The extra thin crust is the way to go. Beyond yummy. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy. Yummy. And, yummy. Also, they seem to have some good deals during the week. I might have to have it for dinner now that I can't stop thinking about it!
