Popeye's Famous Fried Chicken

If you want old chicken that been sitting under the lamps, if you want poor service then this is the place for you. Before this Popeyes closed and reopened Ioved it. Now, I will never eat there again. So many other places with good fresh chicken.

I don't know what the previous reviewer is talking about, I went there last month and they told me they don't participate in the 2.99 Tuesday special...If you don't believe me, call!  Other than that, the food is good...

RED BEANS AND RICE......for NO other reason than those 4 words is Popeyes a must stop.........ok biscuits too.......oh and thier onion rings...... havent even talked about the chicken yet.....ya ya ya fried chicken......but OMG Popeyes is the best......the spicy is perfect....i dont think i have ever had bad chicken at Popeyes.....never greasy, always crispy....moist inside......

oh and i forgot the Tuesday special..... $2.99  two piece chicken, biscuit and small side...... did i mention RED BEANS AND RICE b4 ?

of course everyday is $1.99 two piece and a biscuit  ( not too be confused with the band *3 piece and a biscuit*....

i did mention thier RED BEANS AND RICE didnt i ?  :-)    im not FROM new orleans or anywhere close to louisiana....and my mom never made red beans and rice when i was growing up.....but somehow it has become MY comfort food.....and popeyes has some of the best i have ever had..... creamy...tender red beans......right amount of smoke flavor....its a foodgasm just waiting to happen......its no wonder year after year a fast food place wins reader polls in New Orleans for *best red beans and rice*...

some outlets have a few downfalls once in awhile.....but over all 99% of all popeyes have come thru with flying colors.....

did i mention the chicken??
