Yee Teriyaki

Easily the best authentic Chinese restaurant in all of Northwest Indiana. Very affordable, quick service, and friendly workers. Yee Teriyaki truly deserves the business and puts a lot of effort into making Chinese food absolutely perfect.

Fried dumplings tender and delightfull. Orange chicken is not over sweet and is surpisingly delightful on the tounge.  Also had the Mongolian Beef. TENDER thin slices of beef that melt in your mouth. I noticed that this place has a few curry dishes. Great menu clean dinning area. I am willing to travel for good food...THIS IS IT!  I WILL POST PICS SOON.

So many problems with this place where to start.  First off, I called and placed a delivery order.  I kid you not, I had to repeat the name of my street 5 times, so I started saying P as in Pat, E as in edger ... and the rude lady on the other end of the phone told me to calm down.  Of course I was irritated because you couldn't spell my street name even with me spelling it to you one letter at a time (this was an American born lady, no language barrier) So you would think she would have gotten my address correct, wrong, after I placed the order she had to call back and ask the street name again?!? Then I told her I wanted to put this order on a credit card.  She then said she had to have someone else take the credit card number and it was a man from Japan who simply could not get the numbers right, I gave it to him several times.  Then he too had to call me back and say that the credit card number was not correct.  The language barrier was unbearable.  I should have given the number to the lady who took my order but she apparently was not smart enough to type in a credit card number into the machine.

So I ordered steamed teriyaki vegatables and and pad-thai.  The pad-thai was the grossest blandest thing I have ever tried.  I ate threw fork spins worth and threw it away.  They also decided that I didnt want steamed veggies and that I actually wanted chicken, shrimp, and beef teriyaki?  I didn't realize till after, because they didn't even bother to tell me a price but they charged me 10 dollars more for something I didn't even want, and then to make matters worse, the meats were disgusting.  The few veggies I picked out were good though, I put those on the white rice and ate that as my meal.  26 dollars for white rice and a few veggies, not the greatest deal ...

I had been excited to try this place because I love pad thai and can't find it near me, however, I strongly recommend not even trying this place and letting it close as quickly as possible I would have given it 0 stars in customer service and -1 or -2 stars for food ... this is easily the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long while.
