Been here several times for dinner.  Always Top Knotch. Normally 4 stars. this time barely 1. There were 8 of us in our party for dinner.  7 of the meals were terrible.  Steaks were sitting on the hot plate to long and came to the table dry and not hot.  Perch  was so overcooked it was nasty. Martini was like water.  They gave us free desserts to try and compensate but it didn't help.  Manager really didn't seem to care. probably the worst meal all of us had together ever. Company was awesome, but that's just us! :)

The reviews are all over the place here which is interesting. I go out late in the morning or very early in the afternoon most of the time. Sometimes you get people that are either stuck with shifts that don't make them a lot of money 'cause they're newbies or on the flip side the people want a Monday through Friday job and you get a chance to talk with the them before the lunch rush keeps them too busy to talk. I'll usually sit next to the tappers or pick-up area so I can't be ignored if the bartender isn't up to snuff. I will tip on the first round before running a tab so if the bartender is entirely motivated by $$$ she/he will know I'm not going to stiff them.

Nice long room with maize, green, dark brick red, or faux flagstone walls. There is a large photo of a rhino dominating a section of the south wall across from the bar as well as pics of rhinos in each of five booths and figures of a momma and baby rhino on top of the stand up beer cooler. The place is tastefully decorated with stone and metal vases or amphoras strategically scattered over high spaces and the empty picture frames leaning against the wall above the back bar are interesting.

The bar has a nice stone top with a dozen tap handles and only has room for one (Miller Lite) non craft beer. There is a great selection of bottled beer along with a standard hard liquor selection.

There's an upstairs area for private parties or overflow with a handful of dart boards and a Golden Tee machine. There is also ample room for patio dining, weather permitting. Had intended to eat in Frankfort so while I didn't eat here five other guys ordered lunch and recommended the food. The menu has standard bar fare and doesn't suffer from trying to bring too much to the table.

Rebecca and Christina were behind the bar and thoughtful as well as efficient. I will be back if I'm in the area late in the morning again.

P.S. I think the Jameson shot was $4, which is fine by me.

Food is below average, takes really long to get it and prices are a bit on the high side. Ive gone at least 5-8 times over the past 3 years or so and I won't go back ever.  They only exist because limited competition in the area.
