Protein Bar

This is my favorite lunch spot in Chicago.  It's such a nice respite from the rich or unhealthy meals that I generally end up eating with customers during my travels.  I love that they have tons of super foods and that they list the calories in everything you eat.  Great variety and friendly customer service makes this place even better.  The ingredients are so fresh and crunchy.  They mix the salads well so each bit has a little of everything.  I love that their greens are more than just romaine.  

My only complaint is sometimes I can't find a place to sit, but most of the time I do.  Don't be intimidated by the lines... they are efficient.  I just wish I could get one of these to open in Wisconsin.  YUM YUM and good for you too!

I'm a fan because this is one of the very few spots in the city I know I'll find a healthy and quick fix for my hunger.  I don't think service is THAT great, but food was always good with the exception of the original burrito, which for me was dry and tasteless... yes, missing that pico for sure!  But I'm always getting the chilli with quinoa and chicken (yumi!) , there is a soup I like too, and their raw juices are yumi! Plus, if you're craving desert nothing better than one of their brownies which are completely filled with good and earthy stuff.

Spinach pesto bowl! That's my favorite among their quinoa bowls. All of their quinoa bowls are excellent, but the spinach pesto is my go to. I sometimes add avocado. Try it sometimes. Anyway, there are plenty of protein bars in the city now, and it's a great option for a quick, healthy lunch. I highly recommend it if you are trying to stay on the healthy path and if you still like pleasing your taste buds.
