I am taking back my earlier review.
Yes, if you walk a few more blocks north, you will see Oasis cafe. However this option is not ideal if it's really cold and slushy outside.
I am not a fan of the fallafels here but if you get chicken wrap or Shisk Taouk (it's a strange combination of chicken, french fries and cole slaw but tastes delicious) then you will be happily full. Ingredients are normally fresh. I've introduced this place for a bunch of people and they loved it.
Also, they have punch-hole card - Buy 7 and get 1 for free.
Ordered kefta wrap. Â It took a long time as they were out of kefta and grilling it while I was waiting (which I was excited for, because I thought I was getting lucky with fresh meat), but it ended up being totally raw on the inside. Â Not rare...completely raw. Â I ended up throwing the sandwich out after the first bite.
I also ordered tabbouleh, and it was decent. Â
I prefer Haifa Cafe on Adams as far as cost and quality go.
