This place is great when I don't want to wait for online shipping or go to Whole Foods. The location is perfect for those who work downtown. I usually grab the African Black Soap, Thai Crystal Deodorant Myst (yeah, they have that MYST), random supplements, Incense, random fruit, the sweet/spicy popcorn they carry is quite delectable, and their homemade guacamole is oh so amazing. I also eat in the cafe now and then, prices in the cafe are VERY reasonable for the area. It's also the healthiest place you'll find in the area other than the seasonal farmers' markets. Pret-a-Manger and Native Foods are a step below and FAR more expensive.
I don't really get people saying their products are pricey, of course they're pricey. It's an independently owned business in the middle of the f***ing loop. I don't mind paying though considering I'm helping an indi business and it's healthy! CMON NOW PEOPLE! Â :P
Basically, this is my go-to spot for food/vitamins/sanitary products in the loop. Oh, the staff are all very knowledgeable and helpful too. A+
Two people this week have talked to me, raving about Kramer's, so I had to check it out. Â Seriously, WHAT A HIDDEN GEM!! The main floor is a natural foods store, quaint, with all the vitamins, natural soaps, and healthy organic snack options you can imagine. Â In a lot of reviews, people mention and compare it to Whole Foods... eh. Â This place is the real deal, actually local - what Whole Foods wants to be - health store.
The best part is, there is a little second floor restaurant in the way back and oh my gosh is it delicious. Â It is completely vegetarian with vegan options. Â I had a cuban sandwich - my favorite - and the flavors were perfect and it was so incredibly healthy and it was at that moment that I realized it is 100% possible to never need meat. Â I had their lunch special, which included a panini, soup, and juice for $8.50 - great value for something extremely well-balanced and tasty. Â I felt great and rejuventated after leaving here.
Highly recommended!!
