    All right! New location is BEAUTIFUL. What was a shabby, poorly organized little dive on Jackson is now a clean, bright space on Michigan Avenue with a well organized menu, ample seating and a great selection of food. And ice cream!

    A "make your own" sub format means you can pick your favorite, specific ingredients - or go with one of their branded sandwiches.

    So, me naturally . . . Genoa salami sub, half/half peppers. Simple and perfectly delicious.

    Well done, Fontano. Well done. Put this in my frequent lunch rotation. And at $5.95ish for a 6" sub, very affordable lunch downtown.

    Lucky me! Fontanos has moved to my office building.

    Sandwiches are great--awesome turkey sandwich, great italian.

    Chili isn't very good. Other soups are alright. They don't taste particularly homemade.
