Do I kinda love this place for being fab? Yeah. Was my "I Ate Hot Beaver" shirt a little too much advertising? Probably.

No cutoff time for breakfast menu. Kitchen closed at 11 pm on a weeknight, which is crazy late for the burbs. Watched hockey on one of the better screens and head-bopped to top 40 tunes during our reasonable food wait. Grits are microwave quality with a touch of butter and not recommended without cheese. Garbage omelet was gently browned, and improved by plain grits. Two slices of toast were browned moderately, cut diagonally, and swiped with butter. Additional butter and grape jelly packets were offered. Roadhouse burger was closer to medium than medium rare, but juicy. Generic BBQ sauce, raw onions along with an onion ring, plus bacon and pickles decidedly made it a forkable food. DIY salt for the fries, which were fine while hot.

Located at the end of a small strip plaza with a good amount of parking available. Half a dozen generic taps, similarly conservative bottle options. Gotta love cheap suburban prices; no minimum on plastic, but credit cards are run via Square app. Pretty clean single occupancy bathrooms. Space is split in half with a different soundtrack in the pool table room than the bar. "Ladies, how can I make you happy... food-wise?" Service is earnest, but I'd only be coming back for the ambiance and not the greasy spoon grub. Maybe a margarita.

This place is not kidding around with the 5 star reviews.

This was the first local place I went to eat after I moved here. I read the reviews, and my husband & I agreed that any gay bar praised for five star burgers was a gay bar we could be friends with.

We came here early in the afternoon on a Sunday. We had a four count of potato skins for an app. They were delicious. I had a magical burger with bacon, an onion ring, cheese, barbecue and fries. My husband had a buffalo chicken wrap. We both had fantastically large Stella from the tap. They also have trivia boxes here, which pleased me almost as much as my burger did. The bartender was sweet and just attentive enough. Our bill was very acceptable. I loved that they used an app for credit cards.

This place has been my Cheers for about 6 years now.  I was very shy and always afraid of going out (especially alone) when someone told me that I had a gay friendly sports bar about 5 minutes from my house, so I decided to try it out... the staff and patrons of PW's have become very close friends of mine, many of them like family.  The service there is great, the food fantastic, the prices beyond reasonable, and the experience wonderful.  Whether it is Sunday brunch (which they do every Sunday), Sat/Fri crazy nights, or slow peaceful Tuesday nights; PW's always provides a great atmosphere.  There is also a Days Inn across the street for those crazy nights when you shouldn't drive home--they give a discount for PW's customers.
