Received a LEGITIMATE gift certificate as part of a promotion from my credit card company. Gave certificate to my parents so they could enjoy a night out. Parents and several of their friends (at least 6 people) patronized establishment, which would probably not have happened otherwise since no one had ever even heard of the place. Establishment refused to honor gift certificate (it was only $35). Really? Way to NOT grow your business. I have received these promotional gift certificates from my credit card company in the past and this is the first time that a business ever refused to honor one. I hope that the $35 was worth losing customers.
Review Source:Sam and Elise's is essentially a bar. A real dive sort of place to be honest. With that being said, they have the best breakfast. Their eggs Benedict is to die for. The ladies that work there are sweet and its a pretty cheap eat. Its a local laurel favorite. Stop in, get over the fact that its a bar and enjoy the breakfast. You wont regret it!
Review Source:Ok Ok.. Well this may take a bit of tact. So here goes. The famous Sam's as we call it is an old school 70's feel in terms of decor and patrons. This is a great place to get a $1.5 beer and an equally cheap meal.
But Sunday Brunch is incredible! Everythings made fresh and the line is usually long. Take out or dine in, you choose= you'll win! Great Brunch!
