The turkey burgers are delectable!!!! Served to order so you will wait about 10-15 minutes top. They even have specials on certain days where you can buy one get one free. Ive eaten here three times and each time I've had NO complaints. I think our Black communities need more restaurants that promote healthy eating, greasy spoon spots come a dime a dozen in "the hood". The customer service was satisfactory as well. I even tried the catfish dinner, it was good too!! These folks know what they're doing and they need more support!.

Also try the peach cobbler and the homemade flavored lemonades!

I thoroughly enjoy the turkeyburgers and fries. The few times I have gone to this location I have gotten my food in under 10 min.
Me and my family have no complaints about Quench.

This is a nice alternative healthy fare. Selling, vegetarian and turkey dishes and sandwiches, chicken cooked your way, awesome strawberry, peach and jamaican lemonade They have about 7 locations.. the location where I ate (79th) food served hot, well seasoned, peach cobbler very good not too sweet. I had the Rich Boy fish sandwich....Didn't have to pick up the salt or pepper. be warned only 2 tables hubby and I sat at the counter. I will definitely go back and try the spinach pizza puff and the jive turkey burger...look at their website

I just have to say that you don't get a vegetarian wrap with better flavor than at quench, and who puts asparagus on a sandwich? OMG, it is just the best. I mean the creativity, the sweet with the flavorful vegetables?? Exciting, and I can walk from the office at lunchtime or swing over after hitting the bank. Execllent!

The turkey burgers here are HORRIBLE. No seasoning, and it taste like wet meatloaf. I think they put egg or something in the meat. Never again!

It was ok.  I had the veggie taco, veggie italian, and fries.  The best part of the meal was the fries, although I wish I had know that they would be drenched in sauce.  The taco was ok, it could have used a little cheese, some onions, etc.  I like a taco to taste like a, well, a taco.  The veggie italian was dry and lacked flavor.  That also could have used a little cheese.  (if you hadn't noticed, I have a thing for cheese.  :-)

I will try the place again, because they do have a few things for me to choose from, but I won't be rushing to go back.

Also, as one reviewer mentioned before, the location has changed.  It is now at 616 E. 79th.  Definitely at a less than desireable location, but they get a lot of business.

I am not related to any one at the Quench, so Kevin O. this is a true review. I wanted something different for dinner and I decided to try Quench. I had turkey taco. The favor of the taco was great. Next time, I will try the turkey burger. I love big juicy beef burger or anything beef, but this restaurant made me rethink my views on turkey meat.

After reading the positive reviews, I thought I would give this place a try. I went on line to look up their new location, located on north Western avenue in Chicago. I couldn't find their menu on line, so I called them. A woman answered and whispered "Hello?" I thought I dialed the wrong number, because of how she answered the phone. Before I hung up, I asked "Is this Quench restaurant?" The woman replied "Huh?"  I could barely hear her. I repeated my question and she replied "Yeah." Again, she would NOT speak up. And who answers the phone like that anyhow? If you're a business, you answer it and state the name of the business. Very rude. I asked how I could find their menu on line so I could see what we wanted to order, and she again replied "Huh?" Wow. Four stars for this place in the manners department. I repeated my question and she said "You want to look it up where?" And I said "The Internet. How do I find your menu on the Internet?" She replied "The Internet?" Yeah, I know. The Internet was only invented two weeks ago, so not that many people are familiar with it. So I asked to speak to the manager. She told me to hold on, and didn't come back to the phone. I thought I would call back and tell the owner what happened, but first I wanted to warn people of the terrible service I received. I don't care how many positive reviews I saw on Yelp. For all I know, the relatives of the owner could have written the positive reviews, because I sure wasn't impressed. And that was before I even made it to the restaurant! There's plenty of other restaurants in Chicago to choose from. It's a big city. Whoever the owner of this place is should make sure he gets a better representative to answer the phone. Bad reviews are just as easy to get as good reviews.

NOT impressed!!!!  food was o.k. nothing to write home about. but what made the experience bad for me was the rudeness of the staff working there.  Poor service, and when I commented on it the service got worse.  I had heard a lot of good things about this place unfortunately  it did meet my expectations as a place I would go back to.  Customer Service!!!!!!! is all I have to say.

I just went to the new Quench down in Blue Island. First, the food was good, I had a Chicken Gyro and it was flavorful and well proportioned. That was the good part.

The service is not so good. Another reviewer stated that you should call ahead and they are right on. I went up to the counter to order and the woman there told me that she couldn't take my order and someone else should be up in a minute. Note, she didn't get the person, or call to the person but just stood there talking to her friend. Then, the official order taker came and I ordered the Chicken Gyro. It took a loooong time, at least 20 minutes.

So, at one point, I asked the first woman I talked to what was taking so long, cause the chef had left my chicken on the grill and was out the back door.

She said, she can't help me because she was just in charge of the sweets. I asked her to repeat this and she did. She was just in charge of the sweets. I thought, I wish I was just in charge of the sweets. That sounds like a great job, just being in charge of the sweets. But then I got my food and it was good.

So, please, please call ahead, way ahead. And God help you if you call and get the woman in charge of the sweets, and you want something besides sweets, cause she is just in charge of the sweets.

The good thing is the food here is good.  I had the Tilapia po' boy, the chicken gyros and the chicken tacos.  All of those things were solid.  The Obama tea thing is AMAZING.  It's SOOOOO good.

The bad thing is that it may take you over 20 min to get something, and you may be the lucky customer standing there forced to listen to the co-workers arguing, only to find out that they ran out of what you ordered.

Wait, I take that back...the listening to the arguing is kind of funny. They exchange some funny barbs and you can't help but snicker. LOL.

But you HAVE to call ahead. You HAVE to. Did I tell you to call ahead? Because I mean it. Seriously, call ahead, and you'll still have to wait a couple extra minutes.

I give this review 5 stars for what it is and what it claims to be. A healthier alternative to a lot of the crap we eat on the go. It's a carry out joint where you can get a good turkey burger or a Maxwell polish made out of turkey... and it's actually pretty good. I used to love eating Pizza Puffs back in the day, I know longer eat pork or beef and greatly miss the taste of them, but they have spinach pizza puffs that are just as good. They have several locations but the one on 616 E 79th had me wanting to try everything on the menu.
