I like that Groupon had some "get $12 of food for $6 at Quiznos" over the last year -- although I didn't burn my coupon off until it had expired and was only worth $6. :p Bleh. Â I like the toasted buns -- they do it better than other chains do. Â The ingredients on Quizno's subs seem more upscale and taste better than similar sub chain stores -- not the indie ones, but you know who I mean. Â I really didn't want more shredded lettuce on my sandwich anyways; I'd MUCH rather have banana pepper!! Or sauteed mushrooms. Â Â They have a great selection of sandwiches to choose from (Chipotle Prime Rib? Southern BBQ Pulled Pork? Prime Rib and Bleu Cheese? NICE!); and when I was here yesterday with a friend they had an extra 20 or so to choose from for a limited time -- I had a pulled pork Cuban and it was solidly good -- not wildly amazing, but a bit above average. Â I'm also really fond of their flatbread sammies. Â Extra veggies are free if you request. Â The place is clean, was doing fair business 20 mins before closing time on a Sunday night, and the manager was very cool about taking my expired Groupon (it says they "have" to, but you never know what you're going to encounter when trying to cash those things in.). Â I wish the chain was a bit more evenly distributed around the Denver area - in the Denver/Glendale area, you're either going to this one, out another 5 miles E to Aurora, or going downtown. Â But I wish the same thing about some other chains, too. :)
Review Source:When the Quiznos that was only 2 blocks from place went out, I was wicked bummed.
So the next time I had that strong craving, I found this location as the closest one to me.
It's clean, the staff is nice and efficient. Their prime rib and peppercorn is super fantastic--their ingredients are really good. I go for wheat bread, and it's always tasty but never crumbly after being toasted (I'm looking at you, Subway)
If you're looking for a good toasted sandwich, look no further.
