The Rack Bar & Grill

I had heard of one other person that has tried this newer place and thought I'd give it a try for myself.

We got there early and were the only ones eating at the time.  Our waitress was very timid and didn't seem sure of herself the entire evening.

We came in for ribs and we had two flavors to choose from, regular or Jack Daniels.  We both chose the regular sauce, one with a side of onion rings and the other with the steak fries.

The ribs were amazing with the original sauce and very tender.  The ribs were a little more meaty than average.  I thought the fries were too salty with seasoned salt.   The onion rings were good also, not too greasy but probably not breaded and made on site.

They do have a punch card system for buy so many meals and get one free, we came on Tuesday and it was double punch day :)

I'd come back, great ribs!

Traditional BBQ.  Waitress timid and pretty unsure of herself

Boring menu and plain food, this is a straight up bar. I've had the ribs, wings and ham and cheese. Ribs were pretty good, ham and cheese was average and the wings were fair. The Parmesan wings had little to no flavor and the BBQ wings were slimy and not cooked right. There is girls with big boobs who do a good job for tips so I gave it another star for the bar atmosphere but don't expect anything out of the food.

We went for lunch and were met by a woman in a garter belt.  All righty, then!  Our waitress informed us that it was Wacky Wednesday and today's theme was cops and robbers and the woman with the dangling black garters was the cop and our waitress (in a striped dress that did not totally cover her ass) was the robber.  Oh.  I am proud to be a geezer and I would be mortified if my daughter (who is pushing 40 and is hotter than either of the two chickies) or granddaughter had a job that involved costumes like that.  I'm pretty sure a lot of guys would have trouble zipping their pants after a look at the "servers."   I wonder what their dads would think. . . .

Okay, now that I've bitched about THAT, the food was mediocre.  We had wings.  My companion's samurai sauce was okay; he said the barbecue sauce was meh.  My medium sauce was okay and the Blazin' Berry was a joke -- and a bad joke at that.  It was nothing but sweet, no bite *at all* -- clearly nothing more than jam thinned with water - not even vinegar to give it an edge.

I live close enough to walk there and the next time I'm out for a walk, I'll walk the other direction.  

The place has nada to recommend it.  But if you need to feed your prurient interests, I think NEXT Wednesday is Naughty Nurse day.  You might need to make a reservation. . . .
