I decided to brave the rush hour traffic and headed out for some Brianno's pizza.
First off, A large here will fill a few more mouths than the equivalent of a carbones or broadway large. Â Much bigger.
Pizza was well worth the drive.
Tasty, thin ...beautiful crust. Â Reminds me of Racine pizza.
Truly do wish they took check/credit cards. Â I hate paying 2.50 to take out cash on the spot.
Turn in on Slater Road. You'll go batty trying to find it on Cliff. This has all the staples for homemade Italian cooking. It also has so much good stuff at the counter you wish you could eat in. They carry a very interesting iced tea that looks almost yellow. I got a hoagie and the Italian dressing is very strong. I got some canned clam sauce that was actually pretty good, just buy an extra can of clams. You'll need them because the ones in the sauce are minced to the extreme. There's a large cheese selection as you walk in. I'm on the FB page, and the daily soup and entree features are always so tempting.
