Surprisingly good airport food, and exceptional cocktails. I may have even seen a celebrity in the gate!
Watch out for the windows, as they can get pretty intensely bright in the afternoons, and there appears to be no way to dim the shine. Face away, or wear your sunglasses!
I can't recall which cocktail I selected at this point, but I had the smoked fish, and it was exceptional. I highly recommend it - it's on the appetizer section but was easily enough for me for dinner. I'm a light eater, so take that with a grain of salt.
Far and away the best airport meal I've ever had! Actually, airport or not, it's one of the better restaurant meals I've had recently. I got the wheatberry root-vegetable risotto and it was so good I took my leftovers with me on the plane and had the rest for lunch today back at home. It was not cheap, like all airport meals, but for once it was money well spent. I was super impressed with MSP's food offerings.
Review Source:When you're killing time in the Minneapolis airport and you have the nibbles, Â make your way over to gate G17. Â Having only eaten breakfast there, Â the plainly named breakfast sandwich was made and delivered with class. Â The croissant was nice and flaky, coffee was good, and the service was great. Â Probably one of the best airport restaurants I've been too.
