Stephano's Italian Cuisine

Great service!  Everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Good recommendations on food, though occasionally felt I was getting "upsold" items.

Zuppe de pesce is fantastic. Escargot appetizer just OK.  Caprese salad great with healthy slices of mozz.

Very disappointed. I had my <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Frestaurant.com&s=c5fe485af4df376130bee54f875814d79c4d7913e1258123b1206d2bdbf4873b" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://restaurant.com</a> mobile app and showed it to them before ordering. They said yes, that works fine. We ordered (food was ok) and then when it came time to pay, they said they DID need they paper certificate. And how am I supposed to do that, that's why I wanted to be sure they were familar with the mobile app. Very disappointed to blow $25. Without the coupon we would have gone elsewheres or split a meal.

I had always wanted to try Stephano's and we finally managed to go last weekend.

The interior of the restaurant is nice - however, they put us in the back right next to some strange storage area with a ton of chairs piled up. Not even neatly stacked - just piled up all sorts of ways. Anyways, it didn't make for good ambiance. I also felt that our table was too close to other tables, so getting out of the chair was difficult without bumping the patron behind you.

I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and i'll admit - I usually only want just the pasta and the sauce. So when the waitress took my order I asked if I could get the spaghetti and meatballs with no meatballs and parmesan. She looked at me like I was crazy. "So.....you just want the noodles and sauce?" I affirmed that's what I wanted. When it came to the table there were no meatballs but it did have the parm. I didn't have it sent back, just went ahead and ate it. The sauce was tasty but it was really watery.

Stephano did stop by the table to say hi, which was cool. Our waitress was very absent and didn't come around as much as I thought she should have.

I'm not sure if i'd go back or not. Things weren't terrible but they certainly weren't great.
