    Pictures sure can be deceiving!

    Prior to meeting here, I checked it out online and even changed clothing because from the website information and menu, it appeared to be more upscale than it actually was. Well.... I changed out of my yoga pants and Nikes for NO reason!

    Immediately I could tell this was not my kind of place; It looked like a barn from the outside and everyone on the patio was smoking....I wanted to turn around and go home.

    I walked in and felt like I had gone back in time to the early 90's and it smelled like it too. The carpeting was dirty, the bar area was stinky, and when I finally made it out to the patio, it was smoky, and full of obnoxious drunk early 20's crowd.

    I had a few glasses of Riesling, served in cheap small wine glasses.  It tasted fine, but probably not worth $7 per glass.  Server was OK, not terribly friendly nor attentive and a little slow.

    Dirty ashtrays all over the place, a drunk man who kept coming to our table, and shaking our hands, eventually asking us if we had any "weed"...WHAT?  Are you frickin kidding me?? Do I look like I sell weed??

    The dining area was empty and I would not chance it.  I will not be returning.

    "Steak Tenders $9.95"- top sirloin steak cubes and mushrooms served with Hollandaise sauce (appetizer menu) - my expectation: char-grilled savory tips of sirloin. Reality - hunks of tough, brown stew meat in a sweet gravy with 3 soggy chunks of red bell pepper, too many baby mushrooms (stems still attached), and cold. I also ordered their special house fries which were acclaimed to being extra special because of the five step process to make them. Well, they were disappointing too - they were cold and limp and had a cap of semi-melted parmesan cheese on top. They came with two dipping sauces - one catsup the other, I have no idea what it was. My husband ordered the prime rib - nothing special, just a slab of meat with two more dipping sauces (in all, we counted 10 of those mini sauce cups on our table! Really? If you have to give your customers convenient cover-up's for the food, you need to rethink your cooking and seasoning! The service was slow - we talked to our waitress two times - to take our drink order and then our food order. After that we didn't see her until she brought the check. When the hostess came to clear our table, she asked how our meal was. I told her about mine, and she said "Huh. They didn't leave a spicy aftertaste?" She didn't offer to comp it or appologize. We won't be back.

    Wanted Casper's crab leg special on Wednesday nights, but was told they ran out! How do you run out of crab on crab night? :) My wife and I started to think of other places that might be serving crab and while reading through the menu, the words, "Casper's Overstuffed Buger" caught my eye. My wife.... "I guess I know what you're getting, so we're staying than?" :) It was about as flat as the juicy from Matt's Bar, but with superb flavor! While I DO like juicy's with a boat load of cheese flowing out of it at all times, I also like cheeses that melt more stringy and pliable like a pizza. Packed with Provolone and cheddar cheese, which do just that, I was enjoying every last bite I took and the buttered and grilled bun always helps the cause!
