Von Hanson's Meats

It's a pretty typical meat market. But they have a wide variety of jerky (if you're into that sort of thing) and deli meats. I got a half pound of their pit ham sliced exactly how I like it (shaved but not falling apart). It tasted amazing (smokey, fatty, salty)! They had a bunch of samples out to try in mini slow cookers. I tried (several) of their ham sticks. They were really good! They'd probably be even better with breakfast. I also bought a stuffed chicken breast since they looked so good. They told me in detail  how to prepare it and actually had the other ingredient (cream of chicken) on a shelf so I didn't have to make another stop. My boyfriend and I made the chicken that night and loved it. He said it was even better as leftovers the next day. I'll definitely be going back for more deli ham, dinner ideas, samples. I'm also curious to try their sandwiches.
