Bumpers Restaurant and Sports Bar

Nothing Fancy, just a bar with good daily, all day drink specials and good cheap food!

Service was good and quick and food was surprisingly tasty for typical bar food. I would recommend coming here instead of waiting for the allotted happy hour times at other places. Overall I enjoyed myself and I will be back.

I have found myself bellied up to Bumpers bar a few late nights. I happened upon it be accident (driving around aimlessly in a new place... Ok basically lost...) and there was just something that made me go back. The menu was basically bar food .... And nothing quite fabulous.

I really like Hockey and they always seem to have a hockey game or five running on some of the numerous TV screens.

There is Karaoke night (it could be every night - not sure) and it is very entertaining to observe as you have a few pints (they run pint specials throughout the week etc.) or mixed drink and some Bar grub ... Even a pretty decent salad.

They do have a pretty fabulous hand made milk shake (recommend ya share if you can) that is pretty monstrous.

Trivia is fun and its digital which is very nice; allowing you to play without a team if you happen to be visiting alone (which I was).

In not sure what it was about the place that made me go back more than a few times whenever I'm in town ... I just do. I never feel out of place when I'm alone ... The bar tenders and waiters are always super attentive and friendly... there is  this 'chill vibe' about the place that somehow makes me feel at home ... When I'm not at home.

If ya are in the neighborhood pay them a call. Don't expect outstanding food (it is decent ... ). You will get a nice polite mid-western smile and welcome and I tell you .... That is a pretty great thing.

Drinks are cheap, food is shitty, Karaoke is a plus :-0 We've been here two times and I suppose it's a local dive but it does have it's pros, like cheap drinks and good karaoke. Last time we had the nachos and they were probably the worst nachos we've ever been served. If you're not going for the food it's a nice little place to hang out.
