Chan's Chinese Restaurant

Chan's offers some really good lunch specials. All under 5 bucks and cooked up fresh to order. Their menu is definitely American style, but done very well.

For lunch you get an entree and chicken fried rice (real chicken) and cream cheese wontons all for under $5. The ingredients always seem to be fresh and good quality. I don't know how they do it. I like the szechuan chicken. If I had a criticism, I think there is too much sauce.

I wouldn't say this strip mall spot is worth a special trip, but if you are south of the river, try it.
