I used to have a Rax Roast Beef Restaurant near me growing up in the eighties and enjoyed it. I even remember eating at one as late as the nineties that still felt like the Rax I remember.
I was pretty disappointed with this Rax restaurant. It almost feels like they're using the remnants of the Rax Restaurant and the menu, while adding their own items to the menu.
I ordered the BBC, it was okay, but a little on the small side. The curly fries were good, comparable to Arby's or Hardee's.
Another reviewer mentioned that a local person owns it and gives back to the community, I wish him the best of the luck... but it's not the Rax I remember as a kid.
Not what i remembered.  Rax was a great roast beef shop back in the day withthe BBC and the mushroom melt.  This store is not quite as good, but their are some things that remind you of the gold old days.  It's not really wortha  special trip but if you're going by Anderson and remember what rax was it's worth stopping by.
