Sadly, Rory O'Connors is now closed and there's a sign in the window that the space is available for lease. Too bad.

I've been here twice with my mom. We both love it. We've only been for lunch. They give you tea in a little teapot, a nice touch. The fries are delicious. I've only had the turkey club but the bread they use is sooo good. It'll be our regular for lunch after visiting the antique shop nearby.

There is absolutely nothing flashy about this place, and that is OK.  If you want flash, chances are you're not going to go to Georgetown Massachusetts for food and drink.  Trendy nightspot with fusion cuisine, this aint..

However, this place has every last thing required to be a perfect watering hole.  Friendly and attentive wait staff, damn fine food, entertainment, and just enough of a selection on their menu to offer variety without sacrificing quality.

If you want to relax, eat good food, and experience good, friendly service while not having your ears blown out by loud music, this is the place to go.
Darcey, one of the nicer of the staff works behind the bar on Wednesdays during their competitive but still very entertaining trivia nights. If you like Irish music with lots and lots of fiddles, go Tuesdays and Sundays. Saturday nights vary, but the bands are never bombastic.
There's only one drawback that I can find with this great establishment. THEY NEVER HAVE  MEATLOAF.

2 stars for the service, but 4 for the food. The goat cheese, flatbread & greens starter was delicious as a meal. The sweet potato fries were extra crispy & yummy. The fish sandwich is big enough for 2 & tasty!! Will go back for the food & live music.

Just had dinner here with my mom and it was outstanding.  I had French Onion soup which was delicious and exactly the taste I was craving.  Mom had the Guinness Beef Stew, which tasted exactly like my Nana's.  The Shepard's Pie was yum yum yummy with loads of real mashed potatoes and seasoned beef.  Oh and the perfectly poured pint of Guinness was just icing on the cake.  I'm really glad that this restaurant is in my hometown, and will definitely be going back!!

I like the atmosphere in this place, the mac and cheese is really good.  The firsh and chips wasn't enough  for $15-they only give you two piece of fish-I think there should be more for that price.

Went to Rory's last night with a good friend from college.  Nice, basic pub with good lighting, nice tap selection and awesome eats.  Around 8pm they had a guy play a set of covers, a simple acoustic situation, but he was very good...although the crowd was less than thankful which always bums me out a little.

The ambiance in the place is nice.  There is a fire, and quite a few tables-although probably a few too many, but on the other hand you could do a lot worse.

We only had the nacho-fries, which were great, but from what I could see everything coming out of the kitchen looked great!!!

The bartender, never got his name-probably young 30's w dark hair, was amazing!  Always quick on the draw even though it was busy (not overly so) at times.

I will definitely go back some time.

I came here on a Monday night, the bar area was pretty full but the dining area was not. It actually was a great setting as it was dark, fun and irish. The food was pretty good and they have a nice sized menu with a page of Irish goods as well.

The prices are kind of high but it is worth it once in a while. I had the chicken curry, asked for it with mashed potato (just made more sense to me) and was served a huuuuuge helping of curry, mashed and flat bread. I kind of wish I got the soda bread as well but I tried a bit and it was lovely.

We also got the spinach dip which I really liked not for creaminess but because it was pure spinach. It was literally a heaping of spinach, maybe a little cheese and was spreadable on flat breads which I really did like.

I really loved this place. It was quiet, dark, and just awesome. The prices were cheap and the food was delish. I got the fahhhmhouse salad (yum) with beer battered onion rings and the hub got a burgah. Everything was good and we ate for under $25 (which was with 2 sodas).
The waitress was awesome. Overall experience was a tad slow, and the parking back lot absolutely was bad.
I will be going back. I want to try the irish fares they have there.

The food is very good, the service is usually good but a bit inconsistant and the beer is always a bit too warm.  Ambiance is good.  The open jam irish music on Sundays is very good as far as free entertainment in the area goes.

I would go 4 stars if they stopped serving all of their draft beers at Guiness temperature.

Started off with the Cheese platter .. which took 25 minutes to slice up half an apple and 6 small slices of Cheeses ...Food is disgusting lobster Mac n cheese no cheese in it ... it was nothing more than a little fish stock .. butter and garlic  ....Shepards pie tasted like dirty and was watery ... the Bangers and Mash were comical .. Jones Breakfast Sausage and Mashed potatoes ... I should have known when the patron next to us was getting comped for her raw salmon and the patron behind me was asking why he got rice instead of pasta like the menu said

just opened a few months ago so we checked it out....great irish pub atmosphere...the Sheppard's Pie is OUTSTANDING!!!!! also ordered the potato pancake appetizer and was told that the cook took it off the menu because they weren't happy with the taste so they were going to tweak it to make it better...i like their honesty and their thinking...great place
