Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill

Best fast food in North San Clemente.  Healthy style of Mexican that is fast and fresh.  Staff is friendly and helpful.  Would highly recommend for a quick bite.

I've slowly grown to have a craving for Rubio's. This is one of the few places in the dreaded Ocean View Plaza that will pull me in to battle the hideous parking and the nutso drivers.

The service has always been pleasant and is usually quite fast considering everything is made to order.

I was shocked one night when they were near closing and the salsa bar was still fresh! What fast food restaurant makes sure they keep up on things even before closing? I'll tell you, one that gets bum-rushed 15 minutes before closing because it's one of the few restaurants open relatively late in an area that pretty much turns off after 8:30pm (they close at 9pm on Weekdays).

If you come in for dinner you'll notice it can be kinda quiet. But, it can be shockingly busy at lunchtime but you'll almost always find a place to sit.

Grab a tasty fish taco, salad or burrito on your way to the beach in San Clemente. Healthy and flavorful options that match your beach city lifestyle. You'll be greeted like a regular after a couple of visits. The food is always fresh and the service friendly.
