They have lost me as a customer for quite some time.  I'll probably go back because it's so close to where we live,  but it may take a while.  

We went last night to celebrate my son's birthday.  I called ahead the night before for a reservation and the table was set up when we got there.  What they failed to tell me beforehand was that the AC was not working.  I guess it had gone out sometime that day.  I felt like since I had a reservation already made, it would have been a nice courtesy for them to call me to let me know about the AC issue and that would have given me an opportunity to see if I wanted to keep the reservation or cancel it and go somewhere else.  I got no such call and it was miserable (and we're having a bit of a heat wave in Baltimore).  It started out not being that bad, but on top of that, the service was kind of terrible.  Given the circumstances, when most people would have walked out the door, I felt like the customer serivce could have been stepped up a notch.  How about a free drink, free dessert, money off the check -- something -- to compensate for us being a little on the hot side while we ate our dinner.  Speaking of dinner that took probably about 30-40 minutes to come out of the kitchen which led to more aggravation by me and our party.  

I've always had good experiences here, so I wouldn't have expected this from them.  I was there on St. Patrick's Day and the crowd was a mob scene (to be expected for an irish pub) but the service was excellentt!

Nice Irish Bar. Good beer selection. You can get Carlsberg which is nice plus a large selection of other beers. The Spinach dip is phenomenal, everything is pretty good but that definitely stands out.

The beer was good & the service was great. The food was not what I am used to. The menu is different than it used to be and not for the better unless high prices is better.  The Shepherd's Pie was ok. That is it. Just ok. It was too sweet & had none of the flavors I equate to good pie. Also the pastry was sweet & slightly stale. My roommate got the St.Brendan's Pie. He was unsure the seafood was good. It had an "interesting" flavor and was overly salted. Also, it was only seafood and a pastry shell for too much money. The curry sauce for the "Curry" fries was light in flavor. The calimari was good but a small portion. I could go on but will say this, go elsewhere for food, but if it's good beer & friendly bartenders you want, this is your place!
