This place is always busy, and I often wander to myself, "is this the only restaurant these people know about"?

The food is edible, but you need extra napkins to absorb the grease. I never order chicken tenders ANYWHERE, but that was "the thing" to get (I was told by loved ones). So I ordered the fish and chicken platter. I could get through the fish, but the chicken was a chore. Its was dry and tough, even after drowning it in buff and bbq sauce.

The restaurant was noisy and overly crowded. The also could have used a few more servers.

I would recommend no one eat eat. I thought the food tasted good. I had the Whiting sandwich with onion rings. It was good. My husband had the shrimp and said it was disgusting. One friend had a rib-eye sandwich and said it was not good. The friend mushrooms were good. The service wasn't terrible but she didn't even ask us if we needed refills. We had to flag her down. This isn't even my biggest issue here. My issue is that out of 6 guests, 4 of us were sick within an hour. I am not sure what it is but I am now assuming they use frozen fish and shrimp and maybe let it go past the expiration date. Or maybe there was something wrong with the mushrooms. We all ate those. I will NEVER eat here again and am highly disappointed to pay this much money for food that made us all sick. Never again.

A family establishment having been something of a land mark in the town, a legacy that seems to defy the odds. The service here is impeccable the decor has an aging family charm, the service is great with a experienced wait staff. And that's were it ends as bar food goes it's not that great. The alfredo was water and bland a white sauce ladled over, over cooked fettuccine. The chicken was dry. They can do fried food at a descent level,  not anything thrilling.  This place can do a big group, I don't recommend it. The service is impeccable if the food wasn't so sub-par, this would be a place to come.  This is a quantity not quality place if u want a lot of food at a fair price come otherwise go to other place in the area.
