    CLOSED
Tried to go there yesterday and it's all shut down.
Their website is still up with the same address, but the phone is disconnected.
Another local independent business bites the dust. :-(
I have alerted Yelp they are closed.

Good sandwiches, good prices. Can't go wrong with lunch here. Chris the owner is super friendly, and genuinely cares about his customers. They gotta start putting mustard on the cubans though!

Sandwichville is one of those places that I had long been dying to try, I finally did and I feel like I need a re-do.

They usually close at 8pm. This is fine, but every time I think of them it's after eight. Why do I feel the need for a sandwich at 8:30pm?  Anywho, my husband had gone twice without me and he really liked it. So, tonight I made a decision before I even got home from work. We were going to Sandwichville.

Unrelated Side Note: Elk Grove Village has a thing for sandwich shops. Everything else seems to close, but the sandwich shops always survive. A co-worker and myself refer to EGV as Sandwichville which cracks me up as the real Sandwichville is over in Bartlett. Moving right along...

We stepped inside and it's cute. Decor consisted mainly of lunch boxes. My hubby even pointed out a NKOTB one for the 12 year old girl in me. ;-)

There are plenty of options ranging from soup, chili, salad, wraps and, you guessed it, sandwiches!  Create your own or choose a well thought out combo. I knew what I wanted as I had investigated the menu before my arrival. Elvis the King. Peanut butter, bacon, bananas and honey. We added a side of French fries and my hubby went with a triple decker club.

Here's my take. The combo of flavors in the Elvis was good. The panini press that they used to press my sandwich was used to make other things before I came along. So, the sandwich was really greasy and had an odd taste on the outside. I think I would have been happier if they had just toasted the bread and then put on the ingredients. Pressing it made the inside really mushy and I almost lost the crispness of the bacon within the peanut butter and warm banana.

The fries were frozen crinkle cut. $1.75 to add to a sandwich. Nothing spectacular.

My husband loved his sandwich!  He was so full after only half that he gave the other half to our 15 year old eating machine.

I like the idea. And I really like signing up for text alerts. The staff was soft spoken and really didn't interact much. When I told the girl at the register that it was my first visit, she didn't react at all. I didn't expect a happy dance, but maybe a comment like you should try the... Or, we have a really popular...  It wasn't busy, so I don't know what was up with the disconnected staff.

Regardless, I will probably try it again and maybe lean toward a more straightforward option to see how that goes.

Ya know, unfortunately, I just am not really a fan of this joint

The place is small and cute, and has vintage lunch boxes all around the restaurant for decor. They have limited seating, but we have never had a problem getting a table.

My fiancé LOVES there Cuban sandwiches and is always wanting to visit here. When we do, I tend to stick with the BLT because that's pretty much the only sandwich I can stand. I personally am not a fan of Cuban sandwiches, so you don't want my opinion on it. :)

They give you a choice of slaw, tatoe salad or a bag of chips with your meal. The slaw and tatoe salad tastes like Jewel's deli's stuff. Whether it is homemade or not, it is not that great. Not to mention they give a very small styrofoam container of it. Enough for a few bites, your better off with the chips.

The last time I came here I bought a flavored Dasani water and I just happen to see the expiration date and it was nearly a year old. :( Blah...
The owner is super nice, and is always a pleasure talking to. Just not a fan of his food. Oh well! At least he has one of us as a customer! :)

    Chow~

I've heard great things about this place, but never got around to trying it. I checked out some of the reviews right here on Yelp! and it's safe to say I was not disappointed at all.

The prices are very reasonable when it comes to getting a true homemade-like sandwich. Unlike that processed Subway garbage. I called ahead and ordered a Rueben. When I arrived they had it ready, and they were keeping it hot. When I tried the Rueben, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a very tasty sandwich, and I cannot wait to try some of their others in the near future.

If you're looking for a simple bite to eat in Bartlett besides fast-food, this is a must try place.

Perfect lunch stop for bicyclists passing through the area, with plenty trails and forest preserves nearby. Friendly owner, great sandwiches. Though the strip mall has no bike rack (hint, hint), it offers ample places to have your bike in close proximity while dining. Whenever I ride up to Bartlett, this is where I stop. They even made a delicious, not on the menu, ham, egg, and tomato "brunch" sandwich for me while on a Sunday morning ride. Highly recommended!

I have eatten at Sandwhichville at least a dozen times.  You CANNOT beat the value and quality for the price.  I have tried nearly every sandwhich on the menu and keep coming back to the Ruben.  Although the pot roast sandwhich is great comfort food in the winter months.

This little hole in the wall place is great!  My husband and I stopped in for lunch after an early morning round of golf, had the Cuban and Ruben (pastrami).... the Ruben was fantastic!! Definitley rememberable. The cuban was so good, a little more meat vs bread would have been perfect.  Sweet potato fries... wow!!! this is the perfect place to stop by any afternoon and grab something, can't wait to come back!

Awesome cuban and ruben.  Ital beef and meatball are very good.  Owner is a great guy.

The sandwiches here are pretty good! I've had their french dip, cuban sandwiches and italian beef. All were very tasty and well made. The french dip au ju wasn't too salty like at most places and the cuban came out with oozing cheese and crispy bread. They have sweet potato fries that were good too.

The place is in a small strip mall so it could be a little hard to see from the road. Inside is small with a few tables and some counter seatings in front. The day I went the place could have used a little more attention to the neatness of the tables. A little cleaning of the table was needed and some sweeping around them too.

Inside you'll also find a collection of old school lunch boxes.

The service is very friendly and the food is good so give it a try.

Personally, I think this place has the best Muffalatta this side of New Orleans I have found. It is great! My son gets the fried bologna, and loves it. The owner is the best!

Sandwiches are OK.  I didn't have anything super good.  But nothing bad.
The potato salad side that comes with the sandwich is tiny.

The inside of this place is very small.  You wouldn't want to eat in.

Hours are not conducive to my later dining habits.  They close at 8.

I think if this place was close to where I work I would be a customer, but since that is not the case, I will only consider it occasionally.

I tried Sandwichville for the first time the other day, I was excited to try a sandwich place other than subway.  There were many different types of sandwiches to choose from, I went with the you call it and got roasted turkey on wheat with mayo, cheese, red onion and lettuce, you also get a side with your sandwich and i chose the potatoe salad.  When the sandwich came out I was quite impressed with the size of it, the sandwich was loaded with meat.  The bread was really fresh and sandwich had a lot of flavor. It reminded me of a Arby's market fresh sandwich.  I also enjoyed the potatoe salad.  The only negative thing I have to say about the place is that the inside is pretty small, maybe about 6 tables if that and a high top table that goes across the window.  I would have like to see more seating, when we went it was just us so there wasn't a problem finding a seat but if it gets crowded I can see it being an issue.  The other negative thing I would have to say was that it wasn't the cleanest.  There were crumbs all over table, chair and floor and the tables were also a little sticky.  Other than a little wipe down on the table and chairs the place would have gotten 5 stars from me.

I don't care what you're serving, if your TV is tuned to Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, you've got me for the next hour.

This shop is sandwiched (hee....hee) between an Asian grocery store and a convenience store in an unassuming strip mall across street from Jewel.  They display their daily sandwich specials on a white dry erase board up front.  Ordering the special will also buy you either potato salad or coleslaw and a soft drink with free refills-horray for Coke products!

I've been on a turkey and cranberry sauce binge (can't wait for Turkey Day!!), so I ordered the turkey panini (turkey, Swiss, cranberry sauce) $5.89.   Ooey gooey swiss and just the right amount of cranberry sauce was Thanksgiving in my mouth along with the turkey (deli meat turkey, not leftover meaty turkey).

My husband ordered the Cuban (ham, roast pork, salami, Swiss, pickles, and mayo) which is the special of the day on Thursdays.  Sounds like too much meat right?  That's just crazy talk because there's no such thing.

Menu offers a lot of variety: wraps, salads, soups, hotdogs, sweet potato fries, sandwiches.  Next time I'm looking forward to try the Sandwichville Stacker (coleslaw + fries stacked inside your sandwich!!)

I saw a sign advertising their new Express Sandwichville shop opening up at the Bartlett train station.

1 of 4 sandwich shops in Bartlett, but probably the best. There are 2 Subway's and a Quizno's, but Sandwichville beats them hands down. Unlike subway, the owner here doesn't meter the amount of the food and the selection is spectacular! From a French Dip, to a Cuban, this restaurant has about anything you have a taste for... even for those Elvis fans with their signature peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich. I personally have had the Cuban which is a MUST try. The triple decker club is definitely a biggie. The sides do leave  bit to be desired, with small servings and a limited selection: chips, potato salad or coleslaw.

The customer service is great and quick, with the owner himself behind the counter most of the time. The inside seating area is a little sparse, with less than half a dozen tables and a few stools at the front window 'bar'.  The walls are decorated with some old fashioned lunchboxes and sandwich 'posters'.

This is a definite must try for anyone looking for a good 'ole, home style, sandwich.

I'm looking forward to Sandwichville Express, which is due to open in the Bartlett Train Station to replace the coffee shop there.

my hopes were high but this promising place fell flat.  Nothing was bad, well the tuna was low grade, but with the way the menu READ, the variety posted, I thought it looked really good but the quality was lacking.  If I'm paying a want a GREAT bread, like the old 4th street deli in Geneva and top-of-the-line ingredients. Also, a cookie, is not "dessert." The coleslaw should be eliminated and if its an indication of their potato salad, skip it. It is not made fresh.  One last thing, the counter with all the cruddy prep machines on exhibit is very offputting.  The floor behind the counter is cruddy and all of the decorations look dusty. They also REALLY need to clean up their walk in front of the entrance, full of blackened gum spots.

I just went for the first time on one of my clients recommendations. I had the Steak Sandwich. Tons of tender meat. Excellent flavor. I also had the sweet potato fries....cooked perfectly. I would definately recommend this place to my customers!

I was excited to try out a new non franchise sandwich place.

The sandwiches where good, I had the club, wife had a panini.  It's the side options that need some improvement, after seeing the bag of frozen fries and that the potato salad was scooped from a huge pre made jug I just had chips.

I would expect this from a Subway or such as all of the locations need to taste the same but Sandwichville you are your own person, you do not need to answer to the man, so why not make it special or unique? It's not that hard to make potato salad and cut fresh potatoes, I know it will taste 100% better.

After picking up their recent Groupon I was excited to try it out. Pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality. The Stacker with Fries and Coleslaw was a really excellent take on the Pittsburgh classic. Cant wait to go back, I'm really happy to have a independent place of this quality around, dont miss it

Sandwich place in B-town that isnt a Subway or a pizzeria?!?  Watch out peps, this town may actually be turning into something other than houses.  ha!

Either way im glad to see something open up in this strip and hopefully it stays.  This strip has always seen the 2-5 year turnover always occur mostly due to ok food and Bartlett never supporting their local places.

On to the food, the food tasted fresh and service is friendly as well.  By no means is your pallete going to rocked with mad flavor but the food is decent.  I had the cuban, not served on traditional crispy bread that I missed but it was toasted w/in it had a carried a decent amount of meat.  My Poppi had the BBQ pulled pork and it had good flavor.

For the sides were lacking...I had the sweet potatoe fries.  I asked the owner which one he preferred normal or sweet and it seemed like he was confused on why I would ask such a thing?  He said well sweet is always better?!?  I think he was doing some upselling for an extra 50 cents.  1. who upcharges for Sweet Potatoe fries.  2.  Stand behind your food, if your fries suck then get better ones.  :)  They were not a good sweet potatoe fry overall.  Poppi got the potatoe salad, which was purely  potatoes, mayo, diced pickle/relish, pepper and salt.  Very boring and lacking flavor.

Oh 5-7 is Happy Hour 1/2 smoothies....Buyers be aware, its made w/ puree and not fresh fruit.  :(

Upgrade your sides to better qualities like your sandwiches and would be well deserved 4.

I'm not normally a "sandwich" person but when I do want a sandwich- these are GOOOOD!!!  I like the turkey panini; the cranberry sauce really makes it stand out.  The fries are very good too, everything here is always prepared fresh; well worth the small wait.   The employees/ owner are very friendly.  Love the kitschy decor of the place!  Sandwichville brings a smile to me!  (and my tummy!)

    Quick sandwich.
    Nothing out of the ordinary.
Kind of on the more pricey side for a simple sandwich. The smoothie was A-ok though and the guy working was super entertaining.
A good place to sit outside on a nice day though. Maybe I would check it out again.

Love, Love, Love Sandwichville! Thank you for putting a fabulous and friendly sandwich shop in Btown!

We are big fans of the French Dip sandwich. Yum!

Stopped in at Sandwichville after work one summer evening because I didn't want to cook anything for dinner. The sandwich shop is in the middle of a small strip mall across from the Jewell-Osco in Bartlett near the corner of Stearns and Bartlett Road. The street side banner-sign they posted helps draw your attention to the fact that they are open for business.

Plenty of sandwich selections on the wall menu. I chuckled at the "Elvis the King" sub with "an obscene amount of peanut butter, bananas, honey and 20 bacon strips stuffed in a bread loaf." Like, wow! Not for me, though.

The two young gentlemen behind the counter were quite friendly and offered suggestions on what to try since I hadn't been there before. I decided on the French Dip with Provolone cheese, potato salad, and a mango smoothie (the slush type, not yogurt based).

The French Dip sandwich looked a little smaller than what I was expecting, but tasty just the same with the au jus for dipping. Potato salad serving was also small, but I liked it because it wasn't the drippy kind that you get at some places.

Overall, Sandwichville was pretty decent. A mounted TV was on inside the place and there was a "community bulletin board" with lots of business cards and ads off to the side. Otherwise, it was a no-frills kind of place with pretty good sandwiches.

I only wish they were open early morning so I could pick up something for lunch on my way to work. But, at least they can catch me on the other end of my day for the occasional quick and easy dinner.

I tried this place out based on the reviews I read on Yelp. I would agree that the sandwiches are tasty. Although I would disagree about the friendly service. Upon entering, I was ignored for a few minutes while the owner filled supplies and I stood at the counter waiting to order. We took our order to go and after arriving home to feed the family, we realized that they had not packed the fries or the aujour for the French Dip. I then went back to pick up the fries, to only be questioned by the young kid about them. Only wanted what I had paid for nothing more nothing less!!!

Would not recommend this place to others.

    Pros: Sandwich was tasty.
Cons: Poor Service, Over priced compared to size

Rolled in here for the first time, and picked up a solidly made Reuben. Sandwichville is more than good enough to go on the lunch rotation for the office.

The cole slaw wasn't great, but it's not really why you would go here. Owner serves you with a smile.
