Their pizza is on point. One of the best in the south suburbs. The old house is awesome.

I've been going to this place since the early 80's and it has never disappointed me. I was told that they started branching out to other parts but everyone I've spoken with has said that it doesn't compare with the original....This pizza is the best in the area!!!

I've been here only once about a month ago with a friend. I love the place inside. Wish I could go there again soon so I can sit in a different area in the restaurant. This place looks small from the outside but once you get in, it's pretty big. It's divided into different sections, nice. The pizza was really good. We got thin crust pizza. I'd go there again.

Since I've moved to California, I have yet to find pizza as good as Sanfrantellos. I have dreams about this pizza.

This place ROCKS! The thin crust reminds me of my fathers home made pizza that he used to make. My family being from Chicago I have been to many places and this one is still my top 3. I love the ambiance of the place inside as well, it feels like you are in someones home. I still have yet to try the deep dish but after reading other reviews and seeing pictures I will be next time I'm there.

Had a hanker'n for Chicago Style Deep Dish. Hard to find in the Southland. Sanfratello's hit the mark. Not too doughy, just right cheese & fresh tasty sauce. We'll be back!

Great old school pizza place. Love their thin crust!  My parents used to take my brother and I their when we were younger and I have since gone with my husband before concerts at Midwest Bank.  Black olive and mushroom topped pizza is a personal favorite.

I've been eating Sanfrantello's pizza as long as I can remember, and it remains one of my top 2 thin crust pizzas in the Chicago 'burbs, just a notch below Aurelio's.  My standard order here is the sausage pizza with an antipasto salad to start.  Although I'm not opposed to more ingredients on my pizza, I like sticking with just sausage so I can taste more of what separates Sanfrantello's from the rest--their sauce.  Although their are several Sanfrantello's locations spotted throughout the suburbs, the Glenwood location, with it's "house-like" exterior is always worth the special trip.

Sanfratello's is a local pizza joint that has been there for many years, and as such as gained a bit of a following from the local folk who have similarly been around for ages. It is a nice place, with a unique feel that comes from being basically built inside for four adjacent houses they went and connected. Each room is different from the last and it makes things interesting.

My experience with the food there has been positive. The thin crust is pretty good, the pan is pretty good, but the best thing about the place is their pasta. I pretty much always get the capaletti pasta now, as the pizza is only decent compared to the outstanding pasta, with many sauces being offered.

The service has always been pretty good there. Its not mind blowing, but pretty above average compared to some other pizzerias in the area that leave something to be desired in that department. They also have a full bar, which is nice if you're into boozin' with yer pizza and pastas.

My biggest complaint about Sanfratello's is the clientele. On any given night when I go in, there is always a huge group of drunk people making so much noise its damn near impossible to have a peaceful meal. I don't know that I have ever been to the restaurant and had there not be a group of idiots. The worst part, I think, is the reluctance of the staff to ask them to quiet down. As a result, I would generally recommend that if you're going to have Sanfratello's, get it delivered or take out. There is no peace and quiet to be had here.

The exterior of this family owned establishment reminds me of what it means to have a mullet, business in the front, party in the back! (I think one could find a few mullets out here in these parts) I think most would enter from the rear since that's where the parking is, whereas the front is dark and mysterious, being a city guy I'd drive right past it without any thought. After scanning over the info on the delivery menu, I read that in the course of 30 years they went from a small house setting of 20 people seated to an expansion having over 300 seats. Judging from the homes that are within a stones throw, I'd guess that this restaurant was once located in a home, as the menu stated. Inside it is a multi level setting with all kinds of vintage décor. Above our table was some kind of rotating contraption to circulate air maybe, there are a lot of chandeliers as well as this real old world chandelier, think buccaneer type, not updated Home Depot kind. It reminded me of Gulliver's pizzeria, except not as elaborate. If you've got a wandering eye or kids with you, there is a ton to see. Like the glass portrait above our table which portrayed a pretty sailor girl with her boobs exposed. Nice!

Local Lansing buzz says that the pizza is awesome. Their pizza comes in pan and thin, I opted for pan. Their pan looks a lot like a deep dish style of pie. I found the taste to be average; the crust was the best part. The pie was cut oddly, it's a circular pie which was cut into squares and the tard that cut it did a terrible job. Walking in an hour before closing, we were able to get our pie in about twenty-five minutes. The staff did a great job of letting us know we were assholes for arriving so close to closing time. (I didn't know till after seating that they were closing at 9pm) I think our waitress may have worked at McDonald's at one time. She sat us, then within 20 seconds came back asking for our order. 20 seconds, OK we both thought. Honestly another 30 seconds had passed and she was back at the table asking for the order. This doesn't look like a fast food joint, WTH?! They don't offer any specialty pizzas with it's own pricing, it's cheese, sausage or spinach or create your own. Like clockwork back in a minute to take our order. Large pan (12") with 3 toppings. (Pizza 101, never over load on toppings, I'm here to see if their pie is really good or not) Also added an order of bruschetta. The worst bruschetta I've ever had in my life. The bread was 2 days old, not sure when it was baked, under the knife and fork it was brittle. It was topped with a freshly diced mixture of tomatoes, red onions and oil, it's only saving grace. Six dollars wasted on that garbage. We wondered if it was purposefully shitty or always that crappy. Don't get it, it is messy looking. See the photos. Two people fed, large pizza with leftovers an appetizer and two sodas. Thirty bucks plus tip. If dining in check out the board in the bar, they offer weekly specials on food and alcohol. I gave the place three stars, just cause. Don't think I'd go back for their pizza, if I was partying with a large group, it's a destination that I would consider.
