Scotty's Brewhouse

Went to Scotty's last night hoping for a nice place to watch the Pacers game and have some decent bar food.
Unfortunately, our experience was so bad that we will not be going back again.
The food was below average (we had the spinach dip, pork tenderloin, and a buffalo chicken sandwich with waffle fries and tater tots) but expensive. Our bill was $53.00 including 4 beers. Too much for below average food.
They have plenty of big screen TV's so theoretically you could go there and enjoy the game but they have so many tables and not enough space and that was a problem. It wasn't particularly crowded but three different servers kept bumping into the chair next to mine making this a very annoying dining experience complimented with below average food and above average prices.
We will not be going back there again and I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone else.

After reading the reviews I was scared I was going to have a bad experience, but I didn't. The beer (golden Zoe) was very good; hop flavor without the harsh bitter. The food was also very good. I will be back for the beer.

The south side Scotty's is definitely not on par with the downtown and north side locations.  This one has a very limited menu with a lack of variety.  The decor is boring.  The only plus was that the service was good.  If you really really are craving the Scotty's experience go visit another location just not the south side location.
