September's Cafe Night Club

OK...Im going to be brutally honest here because I think the situation warrants it. First of all this place used to be an 80s club and it still looks like it. As far as the clientele goes...are you ready? FAT girls! Yeah, I said it! The first time I went there I noticed quite a few large women roaming around but thought nothing of it. I brought this observation up with some locals and they confirmed it. Im not gonna lie to ya...this is the place for fat girls. So, if you're into that, or, you are one...this is the place for you!

September's clientele is all over the map - mostly mid-to-late twenties crowd, peppered with the obligatory creepy old men, Groton subbase guys, old raspy-voiced broads, and occasional college kids. Friday night is Ladies' Night - cover is $2, and drinks are $2. There's a dance floor and pool tables, and I'd recommend going to the back bar, as the drinks tend to be stronger. It's not the greatest place to go if you're looking for love (which, let me reiterate, I definitely WAS NOT): the last time I was there, I was hit on by a man who was recently released from prison, who tried to woo me with this witty line: "Damn girl, you're thick!" Charming.
