tried this new location of Noodlesphou (in Naperville, on Rt 59 by Dominicks) for the first time today. I ordered on line (for pickup) , received my email confirmation and the time to pick up my order. When I went to get my order, mentioning I had placed an on line order I was greeted with an 'oops'! Not comforting. They receive their on line orders via fax (don't know why it doesn't come via a computer, but...?) and the fax was broken. Needless to say I was rather annoyed. After some 'discussion' the order was placed (minus one item since it would take more time than I had). I ordered chicken pad thai and crab wontons. I was pleased with the quality and quantity of food. HOWEVER - DO NOT ORDER ON LINE.. as there is no guarantee your order will even be transmitted to the location. It would be best, probably, to call it in.
Review Source:This restaurant is now called Noodles 4 U. Â Terrible food and terrible service. Â When I told the guy how disappointed I was and that I wouldn't be ordering from them again, he actually said, "I don't care." Â The attitude explains the poor service. Â These "noodles" are not for "u!"
Review Source:Sesame Chinese is quite a good Chinese restaurant, definitely a notch above the standard neighborhood place.
The restaurant is in a mall, anchored by Dominick's and Blockbuster, that contains other small restaurants and fast food stores. The dining space is simple, and exactly on par with that of a neighborhood restaurant that offers dine-in. Like many such restaurants, it is family owned and operated.
The menu has a fairly standard selection, but the food that comes out of the kitchen is pretty good.
Prices are reasonable.
Sesame Chinese is good for dine-in. It is an excellent source for carry-out. I recommend Sesame Chinese restaurant. It is a good one.
I recommend their honeydew bubble tea! It is always so refreshing and sweet.
They changed this place to Noodles pho U and I love it more!
I used to come here when it was still sesame cuisine and i've been a fan of their mapo tofu.
Now with the new menu I am obsessed with their shrimp pad thai and beef cubes over rice. The portions are very big and they do not skimp out on the shrimp and beef. I was very happy with the amount of meat there was on there!
The service is kind of slow, I remembered always waiting for a long time for my food. BUT it's worth the wait! And the people that work there they are very friendly. The lady who worked there one night felt really bad for making my friend and I wait for a long time so she offered us free bubble tea. :)
The place was clean and not busy in terms of the time of day and location it is in (I was there at 7pm). I ordered sesame chicken and it was average to say the least. The portion was 2 servings in a small and I was getting food just for me. Honestly with the overall number of Chinese places in the area I would say skip this one. Unless you need a quick bite/take out option then it would be fine.
Review Source:We love this restaurant.  The food is delicious and everything is hot when it get to the table or home in the takeout containers. The portions are large and the appetizers are superb.  The service is fast and the servers are very polite.  We used to love a little place called Tahiti Terrace, and it took us a long time to find  a Chinese restaurant we liked as much.
Review Source:The food is decent but nothing to write home about. They have a "chinese" menu that I would recommend looking at (it has translations on it). The service is quick and friendly. If you're looking for some take out or a quick quiet dinner I would check it out. I actually like their interior - it's not gaudy but simple and clean. Otherwise, there are better places in Naperville.
You can also get smoothies with tapioca balls which is always a plus in my book! The Americanized fare is hit or miss (General Tzo's = bad). The Chinese stuff is usually a little bit better (fish filet with Chinese vegetables, mmm).
It won't hurt to give it a try or two.
We tried the new location which is in naperville / bolingbrook. Â It has the standard menu, but also has Thai food. Â We ordered my 'standard' baseline chinese take-out choices to make it easy to compare.
The egg rolls are better than most, as was the chicken fried rice. Â The Pad Thai was not so good - weird flavor a neon color...not sure I would venture into the Thai side of the menu. Â The lo mein was also done differently with the very thin noodles - so that was a miss. Â Finally, I loved the kung pao veggies. Â Probably the best kung pao sauce I've had. Â I would get food again, but probably not at the top of my list...
It's hit and miss with this place. Â It's relatively new, and it seems most of the business is carryout as of now. Â
Their menu extends from standard chinese into some thai as well. Â Dishes are inconsistent - some are great (for "quick" chinese), some are overly greasy or sogged. Â
It's probably (sadly) among the better places for Chinese food in the south Naperville area right now. Â It isn't terrible - i'll go back once in awhile - but isn't cravable either.
Service is friendly and fast, and the drinks/smoothies aren't bad.
