Shannon Arms has a lot character. looking at all the pics on the wall says a lot of the history and longevity of Shannon. place is small. one should be careful of randomly placed wooden chairs in the middle of the room.

Go here on Thursday nights (college night) if you are a huge tool, and you will love it, guaranteed.

I am only rating this place for its Thursday College night. It is worth it, the place is wild, full of college guys and girls from SFSU and sometimes USF. They have a DJ playing club music. It is very  crowded, loud and crazy. It is college night, so expect a college vibe and craziness. Drunk guys, hot girls, couples making out, people smoking outside. Great college bar.
