Great for actually getting a drink quickly and talking with your friends. You won't need to worry about dressing up or shouting over the music to be heard.

This place looks like crap but don't let that fool you. This place has some of the best burgers you'll find at a bar in SF. Ninman Ranch no less. They have a solid beer and whiskey selection. If you find yourself in the sunset district and want a beer and a burger  for less than $15 look up Terry's.

I love that the first yelp photo is guy sitting at the bar with his head down.  That pretty much says it all.  This is the diviest bar ever as far as I'm concerned.  I once had to instruct one of the bartenders on how to make a gin and tonic.
