Service was ok until my burger was charred and dry.  I sent back and after 15 minutes of waiting cancelled it.  Everyone else at the table was already done eating.

Too bad I could not give this place a "0" star rating, this review is only based on service due to not even getting as far to order....read below to explain.

My wife and I went here for the first time tonight and upon entering we could not tell if this was seat yourself or we had to wait on the server/hostess.

We stood around for about 3 min when I was told to go ahead and seat ourselves.

Upon sitting down we had to wait about 10 min or so to get a Menu and to put our drink order in, I ordered a draft beer and my wife ordered a lemonade.

We looked through the menu and I noted the somewhat higher prices, I accepted this  as thinking it paid for better service staff and overhead.

As my wife and I waited what seemed like 30 min but more like 15 min to give our server (male) the food order, another server (female) took our menus and walked away.  My wife and I looked at each other and chatted for another 5 min or so and since we NEVER got our DRINKS and NEVER got our FOOD order in...

    ...WE WALKED OUT.

I CANNOT RATE THE FOOD AT SIERRA GOLD BECAUSE I NEVER GOT TO PUT MY ODER IN DUE TO TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Oh and due to the skimpy outfits the waitress are wearing I would not bring my kids or my mom here. (NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY)

Overall we were there about 30 min from time we walked in to we walked out.

I am a retired from the military and have traveled and eaten all over the world and this is the second place I have ever gotten up and walked out for any reason.

I decided to go over to the FLOWING TIDE and we got MUCH MUCH BETTER SERVICE!!!  Also the prices were better and the food was very very good.

It's been almost 2 years since I was in here. The reviews since seem pretty good and the place is close to my neighborhood. What caught my interest was the 10 oz burgers instead of the usual 8oz burgers most sports bars are serving. Bigger meat in a burger is always a good thing! I came here with my sis since my BF was busy messing with his boat up at the Lake. Yes, the servers are still dressed in these vixenish outfits some fitting better then others. Me and my sis appreciate a little eye candy too, but who do we get as a server? The one lone male serving. He (name left off to protect the innocent), was definitely not part of the Thunder From Down Under Show. It would have been nice if he was! Sorry to say, but even just as a server, his personality was pretty dead and didn't add to the fun experience this place tries to provide. At first I was think maybe a 3 or 4 star rating, but as our experience went on, thing just went downhill.

Burgers and drinks were what we came for and that's what we ordered. Looking over the drink list, the prices are moderate, not off the charts steakhouse high, but not a sports bar bargain. Being happy hour ( 4-7pm) all the drinks are 1/2 off so that makes it a deal. We had 2 glasses of wine for $3.50 each happy hour prices. For our burgers, ($8.99) you order the burger and whatever you like (cheeses, bacon , etc) for 75 cents each. Burgers come with lettuce, tomato and onion. I ordered 10oz. burger with cheddar cheese and bacon, med rare. Sis had a burger with ranch dressing and Ortega chili med well. I'm not sure if it was a communication prob or not with this server, being it was hard enough understanding his accent in the first place, but my med rare definitely did not come out med rare. Maybe rare sound like well? The nice meat I was looking forward to, was quite burnt and dry. The kitchen messed up the order too. My sis got bacon on hers and no ranch dressing. Charging 75 cents, same as added bacon, for a bit of ranch dressing seems a bit of a rip to me! So we had the server bring a side of ranch and I took the extra bacon and added it to my burger. The fries, I will give this place credit, were lots and pretty damn good. So we are ready to leave and we get the bill. First off, I notice we got charged full price on the drinks, not the happy hour half off price. More server ineptitude, geeze! Or maybe it was a underhanded overcharge, whatever, I had it taken off as the server seemed quite confused as I pointed out the error. After all these misfortunes in our dining experience, I don't think I'll be back and stick with the Flowing Tide Pub across the street.
