  This place is horrible from bartenders, to wait staff & management team.
  Food was horrible, unclean kitchen to unsanitary bathrooms.
  Pool tables are dirty too.
  The locals refuse to visit this establishment anyone for the total unprofessionalism & disrespect towards them. I do not recommended this establishment for anything.

  Fun place. I didnt like the fact I left smelling like an ashtray. They need better ventilation for the non-smokers. Aside from that, the atmosphere was friendly. There were plenty of pool tables and good music. The drinks were good and moderately priced. Service was good. Overall fun times, but they need to address the smoke.

  Skeeters is one of the rare decent places to hang out in Gulfport.  The menu is comprised of your average bar food.  Occasionally they will mix up some gumbo for lunch (not a menu item) that's certainly worth a try.  
  
  If you attend with a party of six or more consider ordering ahead because their staff is not high speed and you will get stuck with less than 'Okay' service.  No surprise for local bar/pool hall experience, however, they do offer a private room for large parties, but they just don't meet an acceptable standard of service.
  
  Aside from that, this is a great/friendly place to have a few beers, shoot a couple games of pool, and enjoy some wings.

  Well after trying to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the UFC fight this place looked real good. They were actually showing the fight. It had a lot of people there already cause of course we didn't get there early like we should have at BWW. But they had an extra party room that they let us go in. It filled up with people eventualy but when we got there it was empty so we got prime seats :)
  The food wasn't that good. I had a chicken quesadilla, my husband had a burger which he said was ok. One of our friends got the pickles and those were ok but none of it was really good. We will go here again but not hungry just thirsty and ready to watch some ufc fights. If you want beer its a good idea to get a bucket of the bottles cause it is 10$ for 5 and if u just get one its $2.50.
  Our server was pretty good she had a lot of people to take care of. In fact our food came out in like ten min. At least we didn't have to wait for medicor food.

  I remember when this place was Jim Bob's and I must say it was better then. The new bar looks great and the beer selection is nice for Mississippi but the bartender took 20 minutes to address me then handed me a mixed drink instead of a "Dead Guy."  If you are behind the bar  serving me drinks you should know what those pretty taps have in them. Once I explained which beer I wanted (by pointing at the tap) she disappeared  for another 20 minutes.  The food is not bad for bar food but the menu isn't half of what it use to be. Plus a third of the tables have been removed to make room for a dark stage that had no one standing or sitting near it. I only stayed for one beer (an hour endeavor due to the staff) no tables opened up and I left to head to another pool hall.
  
  I guess for me the place is trying to be what it's not. I much preferred the  ample open pool tables, great food, helpful staff, and dingy atmosphere. Better bang for your buck back then if you ask me.

  I have to agree with Heather P. on this one, Skeeters is Awesome for lunch!!!  I had the open faced chili burger (**** stars) and had so much food I didnt even finish half!!!  
  
  They have a great bar area, and while it does have a hint of cigarette smoke in the air, its a pool hall for Gods sakes!!!  As for the pool hall, it is very clean and spacious.  If it wasn't tucked away off of Teagardern, it would be a great place to stop by after work!!!

  So you may wonder, how in the world I'm giving a Pool Hall a 5 star rating??  LOL  OK Skeeters is not a smoke filled, beer slinging, trash talking pool hall.
   First off the food at Skeeters is EXCELLENT!  The nachos are HUGE and the flavor of the meat is super.  Lots of jalapenos and cheese and just all around good nachos.  Bring a friend to help eat since the portion size is so bit.
   I tend to order off the appetizer list so my knowledge of the actual dinners or lunches is limited to what my partner has eaten.
   So far no poor reviews from my partners on anything he has ordered.
  
  I do recall that the BBQ sauce on whatever it was that was ordered was a tad spicy.  Which is fine by me.
  OH they also smoke up their meats right there.
  
  There is also a beautiful bar and it's well stocked.
  
  The pool hall section has always been very clean, the music is not deafening, the crowds are not loud, the tables are clean and felts are always well kept.  You have your choice of bar room sized tables or regulation size as well.
  
  So for a night out with friends it's a good choice.  Good food, good drinks and a clean friendly atmosphere.
