This is the old Doogie's. Â It's under new management. Â
Nothing's really changed except they bartenders are pretty outgoing, and they know their Horse Racing Cinema trivia. Â For the love of me I couldn't think of the words "sea" and "biscuit".
A fair number of flatscreen's in this place, especially for this size of it. The jukebox has Meatloaf on it, thank god. That was pretty much the only thing that kept us anchored at Joe's. Any other insight on this bar can be found on the "previous" review, here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/…
We ducked out of Joe's (as they're not really sports-centric) and were pleasently suprised to see a legit crowd at Slager's for the Bulls Playoff game earlier this summer.
Also, my -21 bro got in no 'probs.
Admittedly, I'm just doing this to get another "first review" thingy. Â Shameless, I know.
