Social Sports Lounge & Kitchen

If you're into "good food," bad company and West Hempstead, you might like Bar Social.

I usually go to Social Sports Lounge&Kitchen for Sunday NFL football.   Great place to go.   The wings here are good.  Nice place to hang outside with friends.   Drinks here are ok.  Not a fan of their mojitos.

On food alone I would have given this place a better review because the food was really good. HOWEVER, we had to wait about 20 minutes before we called someone over to take our order just for drinks. We put in our food order then too because we knew it would take another 15 minutes for that and we had to catch the ranger/islander game.  We ordered an appetizer that did not come out until our food did? One entree came out about 15 minutes before the others did. NOT PROPER. Then the other two entrees came out and finally the last after another 5 minutes. People who were seated after us (even large parties) were served before us, which does not make any sense. The people sitting next to us left because of how slow the service was. It is a shame because I would have recommended this place due to the food, but will not return after that awful experience.
