Not a bad little joint if you wanna go play some pool or just chill out or something. The beer isn't too expensive, but not the best prices, either.
Never had a negative experience with the staff. They all seem to be pretty helpful and friendly.
All in all, not the best bar I've ever been to, and definitely not my kind of crowd, but a nice place all the same.
I went to this bar with my roommate on a Friday night around 11:30 pm as I walked in I was over come by smoke wow!! 100% not a place for non smokers 9 out 10 people were smoking one after the other be prepared to come out smelling like a ash tray. Service was slow had to fight my way to the bar to spend money! No one coming around to the tables to service us. When I paid for my drinks the bartender assumed my change was her tip and put it in their jar with out asking!! Yes my change was only a couple of dollars but they should have given me a chance to give it back to them. The band was great that night!! Drink prices are fare!! Â Oh ya hip hop in the back room!! Live band in front. Very smoky and no ventilation!
Review Source:This was our first time at Sportsline Bar and Grill. Â We decided to give it a try tonight. Â Live band and wings, were the reason why we had decided to go.
Upon entering Sportsline Bar and Grill, I was unpleasantly surprised to see people were allowed to smoke inside this establishment, as Gwinnett County has a Smoking ordinance. Â I don't have a problem with smokers, but I do have a problem with allergies to cigarette smoke.
Despite the cigarette smoke, we decided to give this place a try. Â We were greeted by one of the staff, who took our drink order. Â We had to flag her down to get a menu, although we had viewed the menu on their website. Â She gave us menu's to look at, which appeared to be a scaled down version of the menu on their website.
We were pretty much set on what we had wanted to order. Â We had waited 25 minutes and still no one was by to take our order. Â At this point, we had waited this long, it is obvious our business wasn't important, so we flagged down the lady to get our bill.
The beer that my husband had ordered was reasonably priced. Â However, for 1 coke, no refills, $2.00 was a bit steep.
Would we go back? Â No. Â Would we recommend this establishment to anyone? Â Probably not.
I came here Friday night with some friends to grab a bite to eat. Â I've been here before to see a band play, but this was my first time ordering food. Â
The service was really slow, our server didn't know what PBR was or if they had it, no drink menu so we had no idea how much they even charged for beer. Â We ordered our food and waited 30-40 minutes until it was ready, at this point our expectations dropped in the quality of the food.
Our food slowly came out item by item. Â The kitchen is way in the back of the building apparently. Â We were all pleasantly surprised by the food, my friend liked her burger and her boyfriend liked his wings. Â I had the grilled chicken salad, this was the first time I've ever experienced my lettuce being chopped up into little pieces but the overall taste was good, even though I didn't have an option for salad dressing. Â We all loved the french fries, they were the best. Â
So overall, we weren't let down at all, but the service needs work. Â If we were just drinking, we probably would have had a more enjoyable experience. Â The prices were very reasonable, especially on appetizers. Â The place started to fill up with people to watch the band as we were leaving. Â There is a smoking and non smoking section (not that there is a difference), which I don't think is legal in Georgia before a certain time at night?
