Sunset House

I came on a night where there was a festival and fair going on a couple blocks down.  They had one server on staff, and I believe that server was also cooking.  The food was bland, and since the waitress apologized for getting slammed with customers that night, they were out of many items on the menu.  She then proceeded to take our orders, and then the wait ensued.

Around 45 minutes later, our food came out.  Many of our orders were messed up, and some of us received dishes that we did not order.  The waitress then explained she was out of what we ordered, so the chef just created something else to give us.  That's fine with me, just letting you know if case you're not cool with that.

I'd say that I would go back when they are less busy, but seeing how the food was very bland without flavor (not just my dish, but everyone else's too), I sadly will not return to dine.

However, this seems like a great place to kick back and enjoy a pint of whatever beer they have on tap.  Hopefully they can get their act together.

Was very sad to see Kelly's go.  Most bars/restaurants left in Peekskill are pricey and pretentious.  Sue's is a breath of fresh air.  The food is great- fast and fresh- even when Sue is the only bartender AND chef.  Love that this bar attracts a variety of clientele.  Good selection of beer, good prices.
